3 concerts on for the remainder of the year.

Oasis in 2 weeks. AC/DC in August and then The Offspring in October.

Really wish Underworld just played a gig rather than TRNSMT man. I'd go most places to see them live but canny face that.

To be honest I’ve been seeing all the bigger bands of the late 90s/early noughties over the last couple of years.

Seen Blink 182, Fallout Boy, GreenDay, Bowling For Soup, Electric 6, Wheatus, Sum 41… all been class. Hoping to see My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte and Weezer the next time they decide to tour.

Oasis at Heaton Park last night. Crazy how many absolute anthems they've got man, it's easy to take for granted till you're in the middle of it. Noel G gets a lot of hate but the man has penned some of the greatest singalong tunes ever. Great night.

Monday to Wednesday there are about 2/3 thousand there, mostly families. Bands are put on in the evening, a few food stalls are going but it’s just a really relaxing few days before the main gates open on Thursday. People use it as a base, and in the day just get in their cars and go explore Wales . Myself, I like that I can choose where I can pitch our tent, within reason, and I can honestly just * chill out reading my book and having an afternoon siesta if I want lol. The tickets to get in on a Monday are called settlement tickets, but ther are a restricted number of them. All 25 thousand tickets sold out in less than 2 hours this year, so don’t forget that when next year’s are released :50:

Honestly it sounds * glorious. Think I'll definitely be going for it. Only question is do I bring my then 2 year old or drop him at her folks' in Hull on the way down. I know there's plenty for kids to do but mibby 2 is a bit young yet. Will make a decision on it soon.

When's tickets on sale? I've subscribed to emails on the website.

It’s very family friendly but it’s ages since I’ve had a two year old, maybe you’re right to drop him off lol. About the end of September I seem to recall tickets being sold. You do realise if you get some, and I don’t , I will have to kill you :50:
