Actually really hope there's something in this, looks perfect for us and would add a lot, he doesn't even play in the same position as Maeda so wouldn't be a direct replacement.

He does look very good when we were linked last week I had a look at him in more depth in terms of his data. Although his best form over the last two seasons has come more as an attacking 8 (Hatate) replacement than a winger or forward but he can play all three.

To me he looks much more like a Kyogo/Hatate/Maeda than the other Japanese players we signed from J1.

 

Surely cant be a Maeda replacement if he's a CF. What is this 1 in 1 out * about as well?! We need at least another 4 players in.

 

I'd 100% buy him.

I'd want to keep Maeda and buy him as well. He'll looks class.

 

He'd be a good bench option. His versatility could be a big thing as he seems like a guy who would be comfortable playing across the attack. Still think we need and out and out starting quality winger to replace Kuhn, someone of that level with serious pace and goal getting ability.

 

Stating the blatantly obvious here… but we should be signing him and keeping Maeda. Were absolutely on fumes in terms of attacking options as is but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if we sold Maeda

 

Maeda is wanting away by the sounds of it and there are clubs willing to pay what we want for him.

I think Miyashiro would be a good addition but we still need a lot more fire power too. Wingers and a striker.

 

Considering the glacial pace we do anything it is a literal impossibility.

As well as replace Jota (temporarily), Kyogo and fill holes in the squad. Yeah this is what happens when we constantly kick the can down the road.

It’s hard to describe just how good a job Ange done in his first year to win that title. He was faced with a total mess because the van had been kicked down the road. We are no facing quite as bad but this wait and see approach has our attack in a mess.

 

Aye if he’s actually wanting away then there’s little we can do really … but I don’t think any of us have any faith in us being able to get what 4 attacking players of a good level in by the end of the window?

 

I can’t see how anyone who has followed us over the years in the transfer market can have confidence we can pull that off. However, again it’s not uncommon we go into seasons or come out of windows ill prepared and short.

 

Aye … we’ll get the usual we tried really hard to get things over the line but couldn’t * fed to us like in January when we didn’t replace our first choice striker.


If me, you, or anyone else working normal jobs couldn’t complete essential tasks for our job we would get sacked but it’s a different story for our board/recruitment team.
