Very hard to really believe that when you look at some of the players we’ve signed in the last couple of years

There will be kids in the B team worth as much as Inamura. I feel like he is getting a lot of focus coming from Japan, but really there is little reason to assume he is capable of coming in to our first 11.

He's looked absolute miles ahead of any B team player who played in pre season though.

Said it when he signed but for a fanbase always wanting rid of deadwood we then go out our way to sign more

Think he’s in the unfortunate position that Rodgers wants Trusty to not be getting game time, he trusts Scales, and with him managing KT as he is which I’m delighted with how he is he’d rather have Trusty on and move Scales than straight swap with Inamura and Tierney.

I think when Tierney settles into his fitness and Rodgers settles on similar to last year Trusty/Scales sharing CB role next to CCV, then he’ll be there on the bench as an option, settled more, rested after a long season in Japan after a long season.

He’s a shrewd calculated opportunist BR. KT is being nursed to fitness as top priority correctly, Trusty and Scales sharing gametime to fight it out (with the wildcard of Pusey coming in) and Inamaura a rest after a long season time to settle in the country and adapt to the challenges here having been only in professional football for a season.

Anyone saying Inamura should not be in the squad have not seen the pre season games. Simple as that. He was one of the best players in the entire squad through all the games.

A pair of eyes would be the little reason, he had an outstanding pre-season.

I'd imagine Inamura will start on Friday and it should be a good chance for him. I don't see too many changes from yesterday to be honest as Falkirk are a top flight club now and we can't take too many chances. I'd say Engels, Inamura and Trusty might come in for Hatate, CCV and Tierney, possibly Shin for Idah. Rodgers might also decide to give Sinisalo the cup games this year.

Scales being pushed out to left back is a catastrophe waiting to happen. The minute we actually face a good right winger he’ll be * and no doubt ruin any confidence he’s starting to build at centre half. There is no logical explanation other than Rodgers likes scales regardless.

Inamura should be coming on for Tierney every time. Or Rodgers just shows pre-season means * all to him and you can play as good or as bad as you want and he’ll still pick his favourites.

can see Inamura being nawrocki II but even worse as we’ve not seen Inamura perform badly yet!
