This is exactly the type of player we should be going for.

Big, strong, fast, experienced, end product and you’d get him for slightly less than they paid for him.

Time to push the boat out again for a higher level of player and Olsen is exactly that.

He was so dangerous at Celtic Park for Brugge last season

He’s class and his goals and assists record is exceptional.

Even paying 10 million for him would be an absolute bargain.

    Defo.

Hopefully Wolfsburg are happy to accept £1.5m with an extra £1m if he scores 20 goals this season

  5. Aye Skov Olsen would be a fantastic signing. Would be one that could help start moving fans back in a positive direction. Would still need probably 2 more after him though to really see a change in the fan opinion because this would have been left so late.

Because it is so practical though we know this ain't happening.

Wolfsburg are a bit skint apparently as VW who basically own them are having financial bother so are cutting back their financial backing for the club.

They are looking to sell players they don’t see getting a game. Skov Olsen is a player who suits a dominant side as he struggle in Serie A and now the Bundesliga with sort of middling teams.

Never even noticed that Anel Ahmedhodžić went to Feyenoord for under 7 million. Would of been an ideal signing for CB

It was less than that, too. It was €6.9m so it was around £5.5m. Would have been an incredible deal.

We’ve missed out on a multitude of bargain buys this summer.

I know KT, Nygren and possibly Yamada are bargains but we could of taken advantage of several more.

See if we are to sign one more J league based player it has to be Taisei Miyashiro. He is a bit like Ryan Christie, in he can play as an attacking 8, left winger or centre forward.

He is a good dribbler, can spot a key pass, and is a good finisher inside the box. He is an energetic attacking presence and very dangerous player. He looks like he could have a Kyogo-esq impact.

Boy at Partizan looks decent. Vukotic.

Valued at 800k on transfermarkt and capped 4 times by Montenegro. Can play left wing or in the 10, which is where he's playing just now.

Boutobba, left footed rw in hatyespor in turkey, very attacking, looks a player with low valuation on transfermarkt.

Surely someone at our club watched that tonight. If that boy is available anywhere under a few million I would be on the phone tomorrow. Looks ideal for us. Tidy in possession, can play across midfield, bit of trickery and end product as well.

Wolves are letting Hwang Hee Chan go this summer. 29 years old, he has 12 months available on his contract and can play all across the front line. Think he is a player who could significantly move the dial this summer and his versatility would be a great option to have across the squad. Don't knw what sort of money they would be looking for but I think you could probably get him for £6-7m. Asian players usually have a good longevity, they tend to look after themselves very well so I feel there is a potential there to get a good 4 years out of him.

He'd be perfect for the high attacking press type game we play and I think for a club like Celtic we would offer plenty of goals.

Just seen he actually signed a new contract with Wolves until 2028 a season or two back. If he is available for around £7m though we should certainly be asking the question.

Do you think the club are waiting it out to see which prem players are unwanted by their clubs and looking for a move late in the window? Only thing I can possibly think of for the non-movement on ‘big’ signings

It's our usual strategy. we wait until the end and see who's not wanted but we prefer a loan deal in this regard.....on Hwan, I think Birmingham City are the one of the clubs after him. We should certainly be well able to compete for his signing.
