Yang is gonna be starting the play off. Let's be honest.

See the other thing about Yang beyond not being good enough, he always looks more effective on the left because he wants to come inside all the time.

    Have those clubs signed anyone?

    I doubt it.

Summer is a notoriously difficult window. All clubs struggle - from big ones like Liverpool to small ones like Birmingham City. It's a very difficult window to get players through the door.

I would play him on the left against Aberdeen. That right back they have would struggle like * against him, plus he doesn't look like he gets forward much, which would suit Yang as well.

A * disgrace. It's not like we didn't know Kuhn wanted away.

Not holding my breath considering we're still waiting for Kyogo's replacement... Over 12 months after he told us he wanted to leave.

Looks like things are kicking into gear now, someone has had their balls felt for the big delay. If we get Bajcetic and Obert, seems he can play LB too, we wouldn't need Nazinho then.

Just two wingers and maybe a striker.

I'm not keen on either Forrest or Yang starting in the qualifier or against the Huns.

You know at this stage of the game, I would even be willing to give Yamada a go at the right wing, at least until we can get a conventional right winger in the door.

Our transfer windows are the most boring thing ever. Have been for years. But we do always find a gem or two and pick up the majority of silverware and profits on players and the main thing.

Engles and Kyogo are the only two I have been properly excited by in recent years. Both were unknown to me at the time too.

6 games in 3 weeks coming up and all of them at this stage very important.

How many goals or assists can we rely on from Yang and Idah in that time? 34 year old forrest as our fall back...how many 90 mins will Tierney manage? Scales as our fall back.

Pretty much every fan can see this car crash coming...

Scraped by St.Mirren at home by the skin of our teeth.
If that does not show the board how urgent the situation is, I don't know what will.
We have three trains coming down the track full pelt at us, Aberdeen, Bratislava/Kairat, Huns, with a threadbare squad.

Celtic reportedly want to add another defender to their ranks this summer in the shape of Adam Obert.

The Slovakia Under-21 international – who plays his club football in Italy with Cagliari – is said to be on the radar of Brendan Rodgers with a proposed fee already booted out by the Serie A side reports L'Unione Sarda.

The report claims: "The Slovakian defender, on the other hand, is wanted by Celtic, but even the champions of the last Scottish Premier League failed to reach the right figures to reach an agreement. A raise will be necessary to see them leave."

The news on the 22-year-old comes fresh off the back of Jahmai Simpson-Pusey's arrival from Manchester City. Although primarily a centre-back, Obert can also play left-back and provide cover for Kieran Tierney.

One man who has been a long-term target is Michel-Ange Balikwisha and that remains the case.

The Hoops are spinning a number of plates on the transfer front and it will all come down to where they feel they can get best value for money.

They've not been strangers to the Japanese market in recent years and Record Sport understands another potential move is still in the offing, while the club are also watching other European-based players in person.

Celtic have discovered that one of Kairat Almaty or Slovan Bratislava stand in the way of them and the £40million Champions League jackpot.

Callum McGregor and Co kicked off their Premiership title defence at the weekend and it took an 87th-minute winner from supersub Luke McCowan to make sure Flag Day ended in a victory.

Post-match boss Rodgers admitted he was 'fed-up' of talking about transfers.

He said: “We will wait until the end of the month, we concentrated on the players that are here and hope to do some business over the period. I am not going to get bogged down on it, we know what we need. We will continue to work to play like we did today.

“I am fed up talking about transfers. We have got to the end of the window, we concentrate on what is here. A lot of work going on behind the scenes to improve the squad.

“There is a long to go in the market. Today is about the players. Throughout preseason, all the staff as well, it’s been a good preseason. It’s always nice when you get that victory in the first game of the season, it’s a victory for everyone. Really pleased.
