Did he know play DM against Al Ahli, that's more his position for me and think he played reasonably well that night, i dont know where he got the idea hes an attacking midfielder though, hes not got the technique and skill for it!

I think one of the problems for some of the first team reserves is they get little games in reality brendan is not one for resting players and thats a big problem for us, we as fans are not the most patient either when changes to the team are made we want instant mom performances from the replacement

seen it with brown every time we took him out the side we put in a flat performance also seen it with macgregor when hes taken out the team again usually flat performances,

so the managers through the years usually bring the player back immediately and dont change it much if ever again, its a recurring thing that happens when we take a regular first team player out the side for a game or 2, if theres not instant success from the replacement player he doesnt get many more games

now is it that the replacement players arent good enough or the club or the fans arent being patient enough ? i think we arent patient enough a lot of the time, the replacement player isnt gonna be duplicate of macgregor and its not always the fault of the replacement player that we get beat or draw but i think that gets attributed to them, its a team game

I wouldn't be in any rush to get rid of him. Certainly not for a few million quid. He's a good squad option with the challenge there for him to keep developing his game to push into the first-team more regularly.

Certainly not an issue for us at the moment. A good name to have on the bench just now.

 

If he's not gonna this window, he'll be gone in the January window.

I do think we'd make a decent profit on him if we sold him now, could sell him for around £5 million/£6 million easily but we likely wouldn't replace him

 

Has he been linked with a move away? I don’t see us making a profit on him the now, he hasn’t done anything since about September last year that would merit him getting a move for a profit.

Hes one i like. Does a job when required. If he was sold, he'd also be one i wouldn't be to bothered with.

 

Would imagine he would be offski if we signed Bajcetic? I would probably look to loan Bernardo out as he has shown glimpses of quality with us. That injury really set him back

 

Not sure who’s paying that fee. I get that he was Portugal under 21s captain or whatever, but looking at what he’s produced here and his apparent lack of development, there’s not much to hang your hat on.

 

I am a fan of the guy but he has to start producing on a constant basis, only seems to turn it on occasionally.

 

There’s a player there. If he could just get some consistency he might surprise a few this season. Fingers crossed.

 

I agree he's not a bad player..he just doesn't get stuck in enough to try and influence the game to dominate his area of the park. He'll receive the ball back to goal and instead of turning to take us forward he'll lay it back... definitely needs to do more and stop taking the easy option.

 

Bit of the Ki about him, in that he obviously has some quality but also just doesn't quite have what it takes to start regularly and star for us.

 

He just doesn't seem to have any standout attributes for me. A decent player but hard to see what he brings us other than putting in a shift. Arguably 6th choice in our midfield options now. McCowan, Hatate, McGregor and Nygren all have goals in them. Bernardo and Engels will need to start proving us with some too if they want to get in the team.

 

I dont think we are keeping all 6 midfielders on the books past this season. One of Hatate, Engels or Bernardo will be on their way after this season.
