Aye it's * how much venom Yang is getting at the moment considering he defo tries his best and it's just an ability issue. But Rodgers really needs to do him and favour and take him out. He's not at the level required and we'll be a greater threat with Forrest starting.

 

I do think the Sheep are rotten, and wont be as stuffy as St Mirren were, lost a lot of attacking threat with that Papa Gueye leaving.

Still, an away trip to Pittodrie is rarely easy, doubt we'll see Pusey for this game, but Yamada and Inamura will hopefully get some minutes.

Really hope we have at least one other player signed for Falkirk at home.

 

We have so few options in wide and attacking areas, there’s almost an argument to start Yang even though he’s not up to it, just so Forrest is an option off the bench. Because I look at players like Yang and Kenny and struggle to see them coming on and effecting a close game should we need them to.

Absolutely our strongest team as it stands . I think Maeda ends up top sooner rather than later .

 

Stick Nygren RW for this one and bring Engels in midfield … drop Yang from the squad all together and Hoopy can take his place until we actually sign a winger.

 

I'd imagine it will be Forrest and Engels for Yang and Nygren.

Other than that its as you were. Hopefully we can get a bit more out of Tierney but I'm sure with a CL game around the corner we might take less of a chance.

Aberdeen didn't look great on Monday but the new Aussie winger they signed looked dangerous. Looked a million miles better than Tilio and they are the same age.

 

If we lose this the next home game is going to be hostile towards that directors box and pies and mars bars at the ready for these self sabotage clowns .

Officials confirmed for Sunday


The match officials for Celtic's Premiership match against Aberdeen have been confirmed.


John Beaton has been appointed as the referee for the league game at Pittodrie on Sunday, August 10, where he will be assisted by David McGeachie and Graeme Stewart on each touchline.

Manning the VAR will be Andrew Dallas, who will be assisted by Alan Mulvanny at Clydesdale House.

Beaton took charge of four Celtic games last season, including two Glasgow Derbies. His first came last September, when Brendan Rodgers' side defeated Philippe Clement's Rangers 3-0 at home, before officiating the club's Premier Sports Cup final against the same opponents in December at Hampden

 

97 minute slog...2-1 win.

 

Will take any win tbh. Dream scenario is getting through August with maximum points and CL qualification and the board to get the finger out
