I would rather it’s Bratislava we face as the 7,000 mile round trip and 4 hours time difference to Kazakhstan will be brutal particularly a few days before we play the scum.

Tough gig whoever we get, no new firepower added to the squad just makes the job even more difficult, typical Celtic why do it the easy way!

I would expect nothing less of Celtic to make this draw as difficult as possibly could be.

 

Good draw but nothing is ever certain with Celtic.

 

This is as good as we could have got, we will only have ourselves to blame if we don’t qualify for the CL

 

Not too many easy games in Europe anymore but that's a decent draw. As has been mentioned if ya can't beat either of those two we are better off in the EL

Don't know mate. Most new 'modern stadiums' look much the same. Emirates,Allianz etihad etc. Give me a westfalon or a san siro every day of the week.

 

Good draw. I feel like if we can at least get our midfield firing we'll have a great chance of going through, ideally with a quality RW in the door. Aye our squad is light, but we have the players...get ourselves in the zone and we'll do the business.

Details of Celtic's schedule for their upcoming Champions League play-off tie have emerged.


Brendan Rodgers' side will be back in European action in the next few weeks as they aim to reach the league phase of UEFA top club competition.

Today, it was announced that Celtic will face the winners of Kairat Almaty and Slovan Bratislava in the UCL play-off.

Celtic will play at home first, having been drawn out of the hat as the host club for the first leg.


And that game will be played on Wednesday, August 20, with an 8pm kick-off, as per UEFA's website.

The return leg - wherever that will be - is set to take place six days later on Tuesday, August 26, also with an 8pm kick-off.

Celtic are guaranteed league phase football in Europe this season, as if the Scottish Premiershipchampions fail to advance then they would drop into the Europa League.

 

If kazak wont be an 8pm KO thats midnight their time. Not a chance
