The train station is a welcome sight. One step closer to Glasgow :giggle1:

Also, Billy Moore is a Zionist pig. Used to think he was non political (or that his videos were) but he's showed his true colours lately.

There are from what I have heard. Area as you go round to Gourock looks decent, was there with my sons when they were into rugby. Amazing view. Worked with someone from there and wouldn't live anywhere else. Would bang on about the sunsets.

Unfortunately, so many city centres are just done in the UK. Can't judge an entire area by them.

Glasgow City Centre itself is right up there, a disgusting shitehole. What a state it’s in just now.

It is but have actually see a small amount of improvements recently. The pavement replacement west of Central is long overdue but actually happening and walking up through Anderston to Finneston is actually pleasant if you walk about through the newish housing scheme.

Roads are still * everywhere though. Don't see a long term answer to that.

Eyemouth :giggle1: ...the place itself ain't too bad ,but the folk that seem to get distributed there are a sight to behold.

Been working there recently and the people watching is pure entertainment .

Lockdown and a lot of businesses closing as a result have exacerbated it a fair bit imo.

I went to a caravan in Eyemouth for a few days maybe 9 years ago, and I've got to say I loved the place. Lovely quaint wee place 4 miles from the border.
I found their accents strange. Scottish with a slight twang of Northumberland.
    I really liked it.

What struck me was on the drive back I took the scenic route North. Almost as soon as you leave Eyemouth and reach higher ground you could see the big chimney thing at Dunbar.....when you get to Dunbar you can see North past Kircaldy and the Fife coast.
It makes Scotland seem very small.

Still say Cambuslang is the biggest shithole in Scotland and I've been around a bit.:99:

Waiting for @Sean Daleer , to dive in and try and defend the indefensible.

Mate I honestly have no skin in the game regarding Cambuslang, I just happen to have landed here.

However I have stayed or ran about the following areas in my life.

Ruchill, Possil, Drumchapel, Castlemilk, Easterhouse, Rutherglen, Blantyre, Fernhill. I've also spent time in places like Pollock. Cambuslang doesn't even crack the top 5.

Begins and ends with Cumbernauld as a town. It’s a toilet.

the original areas on the town centre side are just a concrete apocalyptic landscape. They’ve tried to bring it up to speed on the Irn Bru side of the M80, but the original new town is honking.

I'm not in Glasgow often these days so I tend not to notice them.
