Khuns first 6 months of the season will be very hard to replace.

An under 16 girl could replace his final 4 months contribution.

The ideal profile for the Friulian attack
Udinese are moving in the transfer market to find a replacement for Lorenzo Lucca , who has moved to Napoli . At the top of the Friulian club's wish list is Adam Idah , the Irish striker owned by Celtic , who last year scored 20 goals in league and cup competition, helping the club to the Scottish Premiership title and victory in the Premier Sports Cup .

According to Tutto Udinese , the player would represent the ideal profile to complete the Friulian attack, as also confirmed by technical director Gökhan Inler , who announced a wide-ranging search to identify a centre-forward with the right characteristics.

Evolving situation between Idah and Celtic
Signed from Norwich City for £9 million after a year on loan, Idahnever managed to establish himself as a regular starter under Brendan Rodgers , often being overtaken in the pecking order by Kyogo Furuhashi and Daizen Maeda . As the start of the season and the Champions League preliminary rounds approach , the future of the 2001-born player remains uncertain.

Udinese is ready to make a move, but much will depend on Celtic 's willingness to sell their striker, who haven't yet decided whether to sell. The transfer window has just begun

We’ve been linked with another striker along with Yamada & Osmand all window long so must be something in it. This time though wait until we’ve got the replacement ready to come, sell for £10M and bring the Romanian boy in or Sterlec.

Seriously, as a club if anyone is offering near or around what we paid then they are dumb * not to accept. I'd be happy to stick with yamada and Kenny until the end of the window

Genuinely, would take a loss on him if it meant we go out and sign Louis Munteanu. £6m in Idah and try get Munteanu for somewhere around £12m.

Munteanu, Yamada, Osmand + Maeda as an option.

Would even take a loan with obligation to buy for 6m next season just to get him gone

I'd sign both and run with those two and Yamada.

Strelec can play wide as well. You'd get both for about £14m.

Assumed the link the other day was pish tbh, if we can get anything close to our money back, even take a hit on him just to move on at this point, whatever positive attributes people see in him I don't think he's got the attitude to really put in the graft it takes to be our no1, 18 months is a big enough sample size to judge him on and you can really count the number of games he's dominated on one hand.

I think there is genuine interest but I wouldn’t be surprised given Rodgers interview yesterday if he doesn’t want him sold.

As others have said if someone offered close to what we paid let him go and bring in another main man up top with Yamada to support him.

If we were to go ahead and sell Idah without a clear top striker signed immediately or beforehand as a replacement I think that could well be the final straw for Rodgers. A lot of negativity on Idah which for me I don't agree with We paid 10.3m euro for him a big fee for us no question but with the goals he has scored for us and the contributions he has made since signing while he hasn't been a runaway star for us he has definitely been a player who has paid his fee. No way should we be selling him unless we have a legit replacement all lined up and ready to go or even signed first and if that scenario did happen I would expect us to still sell Idah at a profit a smaller one yes but a profit nonetheless. Personally I hope he stays and builds on the 20 he bagged last season.

Will we? None of the Hun players who had bids this season started today.

Think we'll learn more about who Rodgers sees as the starter. Maeda, Idah, Shin or Kenny.

Pretty sure Maeda will be on the wing but still 3 possibilities, 4 if you include Osmand.

I still think it will be Idah with Maeda & Yang either side..

  20. Blessed for 25+ years really when you think of it, we've always had strikers who scored goals.

Viduka, Larsson, Sutton, Hartson, Bellamy, Camara, Zurawski, Vennegoor, McDonald, Samaras, Keane, Hooper, Stokes, Griffiths, Guidetti, Dembele, Edouard, Kyogo, Giakoumakis, Maeda, Oh, Idah.

In my time I can't remember us not having reliable goalscorers up front.

Even before Larsson there was Cadete, Di Canio and Van Hooijdonk for a few years. Must = have been 30+ years ago since we last had kind of donkey strikers who let us down.
