Totally pie in the sky stuff, but makes me giggle about just how silly this is because it is another level of crazy.

Away from the crazy suggestion though, and just discussing the player, played just over 2500 minutes in the 23/24 season prior to his move to Liverpool and had more incidents of injuries that season then he did in the 24/25 season. But technically through injury missed more games in the 24/25 (14) then he did in 23/24 (11).

Has there been a player like him in recent years that stole the show during an international tournament, only to crash and burn, because of injury like Chiesa?

This is the silly season element of the transfer window. He's on a 6 figure weekly salary. He will be back to Italy to one of the big teams over there.

 

He was immense for a couple of seasons but injuries have fair * him. His wages would be massive anyway so this is never a goer, at least we’re linked with a winger though…

Can’t believe people on here actually wanting him, let alone his wages but he’s also hardly ever fit. Aye let’s pay a significant chunk of a loan player’s wage who’s well known for being injury-prone and have him on our treatment table for the duration* ell.
