Turning down bids for Yang, Welsh and Yang just demonstrates precisely how * this window has been - we’re unable to sell these guys because we’re too short in those positions.

We should sell at least one Yang, just keep the other.

He is the individual who holds the biggest amount of shares, to suggest he doesn't have any influence when it comes to our transfer budget and what we spend on players is ridiculous. He absolutely does.

Soon another week gone without a single winger being named.

At no point did I said he didn’t, what i said is he has no given right to. Read what i wrote, not your interpretation of what I wrote.

I did read what you wrote... if your point was that he has no right to interfere to the level he does then its wrong. There's nothing stopping him. Becoming majority shareholder would give him some more power sure but he has plenty sway already whether we like it or not.

Guaranteed Brendan itching to get the season started to start playing fringe men and players out of position.

Ran out of words for how pathetic this window has been.

Of course it could turnaround but I’ve zero faith in the board at this point.

    Being sold short again.

Looking back and to where we are now, Mark Lawell Jnr and his pal where nothing but patsy's for the board. They've gone. The suits remain. Things are worse.

    Cowards.

My main concern is that when we are this deep into a transfer window, we are most likely looking at our 3rd choice options. The first choice options are long gone as clubs of our stature act fast in the summer windows.

When the clowns on Kerrydale Street aint posting nonsense rumours you know the lake is * dry.

    He essentially does, though.

Within the Celtic share system, there are approximately 25% of the shares that are missing, essentially forgotten about because we can’t find out who they are and people most likely don’t know they have them. So, only 75% of the shares are worth talking about. He owns just over 30% I think. The second biggest shareholder is a trust. So, they have no real interest. That gives him complete power. No one can challenge him, he does what he wants and no one will ever be able to challenge him.

The moment someone attempts it, he will just buy more shares.

I don't think we rarely, if ever get our first choice options as we simply do not value talent. We look for cheap punts so if we identify the player we think best, we make a bid or enquiry and then baulk at the fee required and move on, that seems to be effectively it. Look at Kvistgarden, Orjasaeter, Broem etc - we don't actually seem to keep coming back with bids - the only time this seems to happen is if they've had a successful loan or were former players.

We have 77m in the bank and we operate a policy where its not the best player available to us that we sign, it's a guy who will be really cheap.

It was never going to be first choice targets, we may get 1 more player on top of Simpson-Pusey in before the CL qualifiers and I am doubtful about that but to me it simply looks like we're waiting under Deadline Day week and seeing who is willing to part with who. If Benfica make a few moves then who are they looking to offload etc. That seems to be how we operate and the bottom line is we don't seem to have the resources or expertise to get deals over the line quickly enough.
