We are not the huns who are skint. So unless it’s a loan with an option then don’t bother. Don’t want another Adam Idah situation where we sign a dud for 3x his worth just because he scored in a cup final

 

Would prefer an option to buy but it's always about getting the best players, and if that means the odd straight loan here and there, I don't mind too much. Loans have a place in our strategy, all aspects of transfers should be used to our advantage where possible

Rumours were rampant this morning regarding the Spanish midfielder at Liverpool with suggestions that Celts had already initiated contact with the Premier League giants.
Fans allowed themselves to get excited with the 20-year-old's profile seemingly fitting the bill.
However, sources have revealed to us that no approach has been made at this time by Celtic where Bajcetic is concerned.

 

No surprise when you look at who first 'broke' the news. Just some nobody looking to get likes and follows, I honestly don't understand these type of people

I think Nygren is our right winger. There's been no credible links to us signing one.

Think he's only been playing central in pre season for Rodgers to get a look at him and also get as many senior players minutes.

A midfield 6 of McGregor, Engles, Bernardo, Nygren, Hatate and Mccowan doesn't address our issues of lacking physicality and defensive ability. Signing someone like Bajcetic would help

 

I can't see Nygren being our right winger, he may have to occasionally fill in there, but I still think we are gunning for an established, pacy right winger.

Bajcetic would an incredible signing if we could pull it off, the Liverpool fans rave about him, and he definitely has something about him. Not the best of comparisons I'll grant you, but some of their fans see him as the next Stevie G.

 

Rodgers literally said he sees him as an 8 and a 10, he’s not going to playing on the wing and I’m glad cause he’s exactly what we need in midfield.

 

Well if we sign Bajcetic, Nygren will either be right wing or sub bcoz sure as * Rodgers isn't leaving out McGregor or Hatate

 

So why are we in for Bajcetic then?

We are also in for Breum, who looks more like an 8 or a 10, to play left wing so * knows what Rodgers is planning to do with them all

 

Bajcetic if signed would be the natural successor to McGregor and the No.6 spot, I believe that McGregor's succession is being given serious consideration now. It's possible Hatate could go before the window closes, it would not surprise me.

 

He’s a sitting midfielder, totally different type of player and we only really have McGregor for in there. Doesn’t even look like it’s true anyway.

Breum is a strange one and I’ve wondered about it as well, possibly going to lose someone in midfield then either Hatate or Bernardo.

 

Yeah I know he is but that would still give us 7 for 3 places so unless someone is going most likely option would be Nygren going wide.

Has it been rubbished then? Havnt been on my phone much today so have I missed something?

Aye I don't really understand the Breum one either mate unless he's planning on playing with 2 narrow wide players in a 4231.

Would have been good to try that kind of stuff out in preseason but the boards incompetence * that up as usual

Aye Mark Hendry has said nothing in it. Though I’d still like us to get a sitting mid, even with 7 in we’re likely to lose Hatate, Bernardo & Engles in next 2 years or less plus McGregor shouldn’t be playing every game.

He does like an inside forward Rodgers but the boy Breum doesn’t look that quick, like the look of him though and would take him. Not a priority though.

 

Aye I think getting 2 proper quick wingers should be the priority although I also thought that in June so * knows
