    I read he wanted a ridiculous sign on fee to go to Leicester. Like £10m or so.

    Doubt we have a chance.

    Hahahaha

    * whit?

    Imagine having the balls to ask for £10m signing on fee when coming from an absolute no mark team.

    Josh Brownhill to Celtic transfer door opens a bit wider as Burnley decision made amid longer term links
    Brendan Rodgers is said to still be keen on the midfielder but could face competition from West Ham for the free agent

    Josh Brownhill has confirmed his departure from Burnley just over two months after leading them back to the Premier League.

    And Brendan Rodgers is keen to take Brownhill to Celtic while West Ham are long-term admirers of the former Bristol City man, report colleagues at sister title the Daily Star.

    Brownhill has been linked with the Premiership champions since January with just a few months left on his contract.

    But he is out of contract and revealed he will be leaving Turf Moor in search of a new challenge after five-and-a-half years.
    In a statement on Instagram, the 29-year-old said: “I’ve come to the unbelievably difficult decision that now is the right time for me to start the next part of my journey in football.

    “Burnley is a place that has allowed me to develop, grow and build friends for the rest of my life.
    “My decision has only ever been about me wanting to challenge myself further and continue to grow as a person and a professional.
    “To wear the captain’s armband was a real honour and something I was privileged to do.
    It really felt like the perfect way to sign off by scoring two goals in my last game at Turf Moor and being promoted with 100 points to the Premier League.”

    Significantly bigger money to be made down south or in the MLS.
