    Go Ahead, meanwhile, have already rejected a number of financial proposals from Celtic for Danish under-21 international Breum.

    In the market for wide players after selling Nicholas Kühn to Como for £17m and losing the services of the injured Jota until early next year, the Parkhead club opened with £1.5million last month.

    Despite Celtic upping their original proposal to £1.75million plus add-ons, then putting £3million on the table, the Dutch Cup holders have placed a price tag of Euros 7.5million (£6.5million) on a player signed from Danish club Odense in the summer of 2023.

    PSV placed Breum high on their shortlist of summer signings before deciding to pay £15million for AZ’s Ruben van Bommel instead.

    Claiming their valuation is fair and realistic senior figures inside Go Ahead maintain that the player will not be allowed to leave for a knockdown fee.

    Not too fussed on this one, majority of his goals and assists came when he’s played as an attacking mid. We need out and out wingers in as a priority…like Antman.
