I dont think he'll start against St Mirren, but he should imo.

Hopefully see him get 30 minutes at least next weekend.

  3. Idah is a big diddy mate , players have a schedule/programme to follow for the summer to make sure they come back in good nick and just need to get match fit and sharp again......

  4. But Idah looks no different to any other time since he's been with us. His general demeanour is lazy, disinterested, lacking in intensity, lacking in hunger. That's before we mention his technical limitations. I'm not an Idah hater either, just patience has now worn extremely thin with this imposter.

Guaranteed Idah will start. And Nygren. My fear is Scales will start the opener too.

  7. Far too early to tell but he doesn’t give Yang or Tilio vibes.

Important we don't go overboard here, but he does look World class. :34:

  9. Should send his old club another 8m and claim this transfer window has been a success.

  10. They will.

  11. Reminds me of Morelos:42:

  12. I've said that too. He's very much like Morelos.

It will be ding dong with him and Idah all season

With the Japanese Carlos Tevez? Moan aboard the hype train.

  14. :giggle1: I did say in another thread I was expecting Tevez like wireyness the other day :fear:

Summer signing Shin Yamada netted the decisive penalty to win the subsequent shoot-out after coming on as a substitute at half-time.

On his new Japanese striker's contribution, Rodgers said post-match, "It's nice for him. He's come in, and it's always different, he's just dropped into a new culture and a new way of working and intensity.

"He's worked very hard in training and obviously sadly didn't get the run out the other night, but it was planned to give him 45 minutes today and he worked very hard in the game and showed good composure.

"He's very quick, he's very strong, he wants to get in behind. He just needs to get in, from the wee bits I've seen of him, better, more decisive positions to score, because we are a team that creates a lot of opportunities."

  18. Except he's a wee unit like Hatate (and Iwata was too), Kyogo was magic at his peak but his biggest weakness was always being built like a skelf. That said Idah is a big lad and just doesn't dominate physically at all either, think Yamada will be a hit for us looks like he knows how to get his body in, could be a really shrewd bit of scouting along with Inamura.

When he does hit the deck he's still proper scrapping for the ball. I like that.

Didn't see the game however positive reading comments.

Felt when watching his clips that he definitely has attributes far more suited to us than Idah. Wouldn't be surprised if he takes the shine.
