I was tickled by the idea of Rodgers and Lawwell bickering like a pair of 10-year-olds the same way Trump and Powell did and I noticed that you would only have to change a few words to make it work.

Not sure how you got from that the idea that I see Trump as an example of how to run Celtic, unless you've somehow got the idea that I think having the emotional maturity of a 10-year-old is a good thing in a leader.

Why? Someone mentioned Trump and it reminded me of the argument with Powell. And the idea popped into my head of Rodgers and Lawwell bickering like that and this made me laugh and I wanted to share it for that reason. I found it funny precisely because Trump was behaving so appallingly, not because I somehow think he's a model of leadership that Celtic should follow.

If you don't find it funny, that's fine; but at least take the time to get the joke before you start using words like "embarrassing" and the c-word.

Nygren and KT will improve the first 11.. they are a major positive.

The rest thus far are squad players with some promising signs.

Need these starting wingers in the building now.

Take the time to climb down from your high horse and understand that I did not use Trump as an example.
I'm quite comfortable agreeing with you that both Trump and Powell are scumbags.

We're basically in to a winter window now. Just over 4 weeks to get the 4-6 players in we need.

From Monday whatever we are doing needs to be accelerated as it appears we're doing nothing but clearing the decks and hoarding cash.

For sure its an absolute disgrace especially as we saw last season what progress we can make if we actually bring in some quality and make the team better. But as things stand we are no better then how we finished last season and there is a scary lack of depth particularly in attack.

Crow, I honestly don't get why you are so angry about this and I genuinely think your anger is blocking you from understanding what I have been saying. I don't like or support Trump either.

Nothing in what I posted in any way implied approval of Trump. It's just 2 people in very powerful roles, roles that come with a lot of responsibility, behaving like a pair of bickering children instead of responsible adults and I found it funny to imagine Rodgers and Lawwell bickering the same way and I noticed that the transcript would actually work if you change just a few words.

I find it funny and you don't; but that's a separate issue to whether the joke implies any approval of Trump or Powell. It doesn't (quite the opposite, if you think about it) and that's good, because I don't approve of them any more than you do.

We're going to build a big, beautiful wall across the back line. We'll have so many left-backs - you're going to have so many left-backs, you'll say "no more left-backs", but we'll keep signing them. No more players from shithole countries, only American-born players (we have the best centre-halves). We're cancelling the Idah deal - maybe the worst deal in the history of deals - and Dopey Desmond's going to pay for it. And we're going to jail the SFA for rigging the Scottish Cup final. We won the treble, we've had so many trebles, no one has more.

I didn't use him as an example, mate. Even if someone tried to read an example into the joke (which I repeat, was not my intention), the only thing that it could be an example of would be as an example of how not to be a leader.

Dude, have you actually watched the video? He comes across like a petulant child. They reminded me of a time when my two nieces were small children and were arguing because, "She's looking out of my window!" No one who actually wanted to propose Trump as an example of leadership would use that video to make their case.

    OK, well that's fair enough.

At least now I understand why you misunderstood my post if you didn't watch the video. So we've sorted out the misunderstanding and can move on.
