Looking like a dud tbh, hopefully starts the season well and proves us all wrong

 

Been saying that for ages. Along the lines of "aw * Idah's starting, hope he proves me wrong"

Well I'm still waiting.

 

He won't ever come good , he's too indecisive and inconsistent over the course of a season. He did brilliantly on loan but that was a completely different situation

 

The problem is he's just terrible at football

 

He done well at the start during his loan and did contribute a it last year but he has fallen off a cliff since, especially this season so far

 

He is about as good at football as Maeda was when we signed him.

Just doesn't have the drive and energy to compensate for the lack of everything else

 

I do think it’s a motivation issue with him, we all know he can play well occasionally, it just seems he can’t be arsed most of the time, put the guy up for sale to see if that will motivate him.

 

I just think he’s a lazy * at times the attempted finishes in some of the friendlies where it’s a cert to score and he puts it wide or above the bar is the mark of laziness and lack of concentration

Offloading him and signing a new number one would massively fix our squad balance issues though
