    I kinda agree with what hes getting at.

    The public name dropping of clubs is a clear ploy to drive the cost up and invite other parties to take a look.

    We are clearly interested i think, but theyre at it. Totally within their rights.

    I will echo what @Ruari McCandless said too.

    Nothing wrong with this type of signing, but we need a player of his profile ready to go now. Not in 2-3 years.

    Its still mental to me that we haven't been linked with more options for this type of player. I understand needs must, and we need wingers, a striker, a CB et al, but this position is turning into the new LB frustration for me.

    For that position we need an experienced CDM. Unless this guy is the back up DM.

    We aren't going to drop McGregor enough times yet to justify spending big money for a player in that role. Think that's the vibe I'm getting. Not sure I agree with it but anyway.

    So it perhaps does make more sense to go for a highly rated young player like this instead for the moment.

    Looking at all the reports regarding him etc I also don't think it would take him 2-3 years to be ready. Reminder we signed Wanyama at 19. Aye he had played a bit more football than this guy but if he truly does have the talent them I'm sure he'd be fine.

    Excited about this. Seems the ideal kind of player to come in as a McGregor understudy. Couple of years in and out the team developing before taking over proper when he's 20/21.

    I know Lennon Miller was above him in some passing stats or something but he is ridiculously similar in stature and playing style. I don't think that's a coincidence..

    Good point. Hard to gauge how they compare and obviously Miller has more first team experience, but this lad looks the part no doubt. Two feet, statute, composure, ability to break lines. Cheaper too.

    Both kinda lanky-ish. 2 footed as you say. Good on the turn. Like a wee foray forward on the ball. Both no particularly quick, although Bacanin looks maybe a touch quicker. Outstanding range of passing. First thought is to play forward..

    Cheaper but looks very good still. Hope we get him..
