So today were getting treated to a real game with no Ulster team.

    17th minute and it's already 0-1 to 0-1

  2. I hope your watched your hands very thoroughly after you made that post.

  3. Certainly whatever anybody wants to say about Farrell's time as Dublin boss he clearly he a genuinely class act as a person and I wish him nothing but the best. It probably was the right decision and again whatever one says about his time as manager he can look back on having won 2 All Irelands and given he won one as a player as well he can be very proud of his time as a player and a manager with Dublin.

  4. On the game things went as I expected. With Conn O'Callaghan this current Dublin side just lacks the quality in attack to beat the other top sides in the country. If Conn had of been fit to play I think we would have won as I thought we played well at times but lacked any quality when it came to the final third but without him it was clear to see yesterday that the quality in attack was not there and Tyrone deserved to win.

  5. As for today hats off to Meath for pulling off another upset all credit to them. Galway has under performed for much of this season and it finally caught up with them today.

Tipp need everything to go their way and a lot of luck. This Cork team are unbelievable. I was at the match on Saturday. The movement, pace and vision was incredible.

  9. Was I the only one watching that football semi final who wanted both teams to lose?

Looking forward to good competitive football final. Hopefully will be something like the Ulster final

  13. Think Dublin made Cork look better than they actually are, will see on Sunday, bookmakers not giving Tipp much of a chance.
BTW, there will be a mass on Talbot St before the match, 12:00hrs at the spot where Tipperary man Sean Tracey was shot dead by Crown forces back during war of independence. This Mass always takes place whenever Tipp play all Ireland final.

Had been to said mass in and around 2012 (when Tipp were in the final) can't remember exact year. This will be my 18th All Ireland. Lower Hogan this time.

  15. For anyone interested in GAA , especially those who imagine some exaggeration on the passion and intensity and skill of Hurling.

You should really try and watch todays live at 3.30pm All Ireland Final , or at least try and watch match replay on RTE, search on a stream.

These fellas all round fitness stamina and skill would embarrass most infant soft by comparison professional sports. Doubt then watch.

Pathetic from Cork. Never seen a 2nd half as bad in my life.

  18. Travelling back to Cork from Killarney today, went to Blarney Castle then stopped in at a pub to watch the match. Two Tipp fans in the full pub, which was mobbed. Tell enjoy themselves tonight. I know next to nothing about hurling, but Tipp were superb second half. They were all over Cork and just looked so much more hungrier.
