Sources indicate that Maeda’s representatives have been in discussions with Brentford, signalling the club’s intent to act swiftly, regardless of whether Wissa is sold after Mbeumo.

If I thought we'd lump all of a £25M fee into a direct replacement (or 2) I'd sell him.
He's at his peak value right now and will not go higher.

* is all this Maeda talk about?. If there's any truth in this then it would be a right sore one to take and right up there with loosing the likes of Henke or MOT. The worst aspect of it all (if true) would be knowing that our board would just hoard whatever fee he goes for. Hopefully its a load of * but we've all seen this story before

Wonder if we knew he’d be away so that’s why we got Yamada in, hard to turn down £25M but my worry is we’d be lucky to see £8M of that towards a replacement.
