Well, at least we know that there's none of the young ones ready to step up to the plate if needed, (which is a sad reflection on whoever is responsible for youth development). Glaringly obvious we need to sign a new CB and a strong box to box midfielder as a priority. Hopefully it gets done soon as

This game was over the second Cal went off for McArdle. Can't really read anything in to it after that.

    Definitely

Just think there likely will be interest at some point this window. Absolutely no chance we can let him go before play offs

This time last year we were battering Chelsea and Man City.

We don’t have one CB other than CCV that’s anywhere near good enough to be first team for us … we don’t have one winger other than Maeda that’s good enough to be starting for us either.

Same could be argued for up front too.

The defending in this game has been abysmal. Really disappointed at the level of the young players, they are miles off being ready to be near the first team.

It’s also disappointing compared to last year there was a clear style of play even in preseason with tactics evident this today has been very disjointed. Need to see a step up the next couple of games.

Also badly need some reinforcements brought in who are ready to make an impact.

It's ok lads we have millions and millions in the bank making interest while we all know we need quality signings.

It makes sense that we essentially use these games to give the youth and out of favour players a chance, but by * does it make them a drag to watch :56:

Nygren looked great, Inamura had another decent game and Forrest looked okay, not much else can be said outside that. Wee bit disappointed with Engels and Trusty's performances.

That was pretty * and raises the same questions ... mostly the same ones we refused to answer in January
