I think this so called injury will just be Royal Antwerp wrapping Balikwisha in cotton wool, until we sign him.

    And we will sign him.

Think he'll be the signing of the season if this goes ahead. "Injury" or cotton wool. Whatever there club wants to call it.

So, he's not actually injured. The club are basically letting him rest after 3 weeks on intense training to get more recovery after he had a couple of bad injuries over the last year. That's literally it.

    * are so * desperate to get wound up it's unreal.

It's fairly obvious he is our last resort

Dragging the * out of this big time. He won't even get the fabled "full pre season " so that's him got a 12 month pass aswell.

Agree that it feels like he’s 3rd or 4th choice. He wants to come and Antwerp by all accounts need to sell.

If we really wanted him, he’d have been here two weeks ago.

Few days intense training after 3 weeks off, basically. Not wanting to push him too hard, build him back up slowly. That's exactly what they should be doing.

He's not injured though. He's doing something different.

Over it, maybe my naivety on the player, just not sure what he brings.

Feel like we should be looking at different targets

Thats why I said manager is either telling truth or at it to protect the impending departure

Yeah, but then we'd have to pay his wages for the extra weeks. I am slightly suspicious our board considers this during transfer windows. It would not surprise me.

Sign 3 players on 20k a week at start of July or wait until last couple of days of the window means we would save over half a million.

There is a absolutely no doubt that fat * Lawwell thinks that way.

It's genuinely crazy that you believe that ridiculous conspiracy theory.

It's genuinely crazy we go into Champions league qualifiers under prepared every season yet spend 10 - 15m the last week of the window every year

We haven't had qualifiers the previous 3 seasons, for a start.

Additionally, the fact you can't don't think that there are other factors that give very good reasoning behind the 'waiting until the last couple of weeks of the window' to buy in players is baffling. Jumping to a mad conspiracy theory about trying to save wages is genuinely crazy.

Is July a difficult month to do business?

You know like the club tell us January is a difficult month to do business.

Folk constantly ignoring the same failings and refusing to notice the swim pattern emerge or call it out is why the * continually get away with it.

But you know what * it. When you are on here complaining about Idah up front or Scales at left back or is bringing on Yang to try win the game in the play off ill not say I told you so.
