Outstanding first half

 

Keeps getting caught too far up the park when we're defending and looks like he's in no rush to get back when he does but going forward he looks decent and surprisingly dominant in the air.

 

Passing has been superb, reads the game well and has good speed. Hasn't really been tested defensively yet but got high hopes. Keeps this up and we'll have some player.

Would definitely keep him, seems to have high IQ in terms of reading the game, and picking out passes. Definitely like the look of him albeit it's only Cork City in a friendly but he's the type of player I generally think will improve with each game.

 

He's still pretty inexperienced tbf but showed some glimpses of why we were interested.

 

On the ball he 100% has something..

Some great balls in or cutting the back line wide open..

 

Technically very good.. untested defensively..

 

He should have had two assists, the long ball through for Kenny he should have got on the end of it and that cross in for Kenny again should have been a goal.

Very assured on the ball, can’t judge him defensively as he had little to do but won a few headers as 6ft at full back isn’t small out there. Made some good runs too.

 

That the plan the club have for him mate?

 

Looks very comfortable on the ball and can pick a pass.

He would struggle with the physical side of the SPL at the moment and teams would target that back post. There's a player in there but will take time.

And we need to remember we are playing a half strength Cork team who are bottom of their league

If he turns out to be a decent signing it will be an unreal bit of business. 17 pro matches in the J League. Whoever scouted him will be due a raise.

 

100 percent more suited to playing left back in the inverted role for us … obviously needs tested more defensively but he’s looked impressive.

 

I think for a full back he doesn’t look like he would be physically outmatched too easily against most wingers. Don’t get me wrong there will be a few big brutes out there in the Scottish Premiership.

He was very good on the ball, both passing and when he got into crossing positions. Need to see more in terms of defending but done all you can ask of him tonight.

As @Mr Shelby says we have to be looking at him as a left fullback, that could replicate what Taylor gave us.

 

Looked very good but will reserve judgement as it's Cork City.

 

Never seen the game but If he’s good on the ball is there a chance he could maybe become a good cdm if his defending can be a bit ropey ?

 

You can tell he has something about him.

Might not be in the first team yet but a good loan spell and I think he can make a difference.

Let's see how he gets on in pre season first.

Never a CB either imo, 100% a LB for me going forward.
