Possibly being harsh but his injury record early on and his constant need to be subbed early when he was given a chance hasn't helped his cause and a big part of why Rodgers hasn't played him often since I'd say.

Central defender Maik Nawrocki moves to Hannover 96
He is the 14th. Summer new signing of Hannover 96: Central defender Maik Nawrocki moves from the Scottish champion Celtic Glasgow initially for one year on loan to the Maschsee. Subsequently, Hannover 96 has a purchase option for the 24-year-old.




96 Managing Director Marcus Mann: "Maik is a central defender whose game is characterized by great clarity and calmness. He anticipates very well, can read the game and completes his defensive tasks with a good header game and a high duel quality. After winning the ball, he has a very clean continuation of the game and has the necessary technical skills to directly initiate the switching game and to bring the people in front of him into position via displacements or passes into the interfaces.

Title wins in Poland and Scotland
As the son of Polish parents, Maik Nawrocki was born and raised in Bremen. The defensive player went through the junior teams of SV Werder up to the U23. In the winter of 2021, he finally moved on loan to the Polish 2. League to Warta Poznan. Six months later, the central defender first joined the Polish record champion Legia Warsaw on loan. The club from the capital subsequently signed Nawrocki firmly, in total the now 24-year-old was in the field for Legia in 60 games - including in the Europa League and in the Champions League qualification. He scored five goals and gave four assists. He also celebrated winning the Polish Cup and the Super Cup.

In 2023, Nawrocki went to Celtic Glasgow. In the Celtic jersey, he collected 18 appearances, in which he achieved a goal. He won the league twice with the Scottish record champion, and he also won the Scottish Cup and League Cup.

Nawrocki also played from the U15 to the U21 for the junior national teams of Poland. 31 times he laced the shoes for the selection teams, he contributed eight goals.

I can’t remember that but I don’t think we’ll ever regret sending Nawrocki out on loan.

 

Good move for him. I hope he excels there and gets us money.
