Still nothing new, he is probably quoting the same voetbalprimeur site. Nothing new between the clubs in days.

    We do this every year.

Lawwell logic, why sign someone in June when you can sign him end of August and save 8 weeks wages.

Lawwell doesn't get bonuses by just throwing away £100k

Michel-Ange Balikwisha appears to be moving back up the Parkhead agenda with reports in Belgium suggesting that Royal Antwerp are ready to lower their asking price for the 24-year-old.

Voetbal Primeur claim that talks have reached a deadlock over the £5.1m asking price - but they now state that a the deal could go as low as £4.6million with Antwerp in need of a financial boost.

Hope they put price back up and we drop out, not excited by this guy at all.
Injury prone, doesn't take players on, lack of end product etc etc.

As an aside, interesting insinuation that several internal factors at Celtic management have slowed things done - tell us something we don't know already!:BR1:

Personally on this occasion I think things have slowed as he's probably not our no1 target. Honestly think it'd be done by now otherwise.

We probably offering 3.5/4 million for him and they wanted 5.1 million

I'm sure a deal will be struck for him, just the usual bit of haggling as expected.
He's a long term target, and he wants to come here.

    This one is a goer.

Which I think is a good thing imo. I'd be happy with this guy but I'd have been disappointed if we weren't at least trying with the likes of Moro, Orjasaeter etc.

By all accounts this guy wants to come here, the price Antwerp are asking for is decent and he still looks a good player, just not as exciting as the above two.

Gazet van Antwerpen state that the forward is the "main focus" for the Scottish champions at this stage with their positive clear to Antwerp

£3-4m would be a good deal.

Can't disagree he would be good value for the quoted money, but the question should be...is he an automatic first team pick and a significant upgrade on what we have?
In the words of Bertie Auld 'aye, but can he play?'

Not for me, not even close to what's required.
Yes, an upgrade on Yang (not hard) but not Maeda or Kuhn.
I think we should be aiming higher, much higher.

    I don't like this one..

The fact he's just there and we keep skirting around other first picks and then back to him.... it's giving me bad vibes..

He wouldn't be an upgrade for Kuhn tho. He'd be competition for LW.

At 3-4m I'd rather go for him than sign another yang or someone else to try and compete with Jota when fit again or Maeda.

£3-4m for us now should be a squad member more often than not, perhaps not an automatic first pick. For me this guy would improve our options and potentially surprise a few. At that price I think it's worth it.

I only feel this way as I don't believe he's the only winger we will sign this summer.

Not keen on him really. Think there's better out there for the same price. And it's apparently obvious he is the fallback option. I know that worked incredibly well with O'Riley but his numbers were insane, can't say the same for him.
