Scottish Premiership 2025/26 – Odds, Celtic fixtures & preview

    Scottish Premiership 2025/26 – Preview

Celtic will kick off the defence off the Scottish Premiership title on Sunday, August 3, with a home game against St Mirren.

Aberdeen (A) and Livingston (H) are next on the agenda, before they visit Rangers for the first Glasgow derby of the campaign on August 31.

The two side sides will meet again at Parkhead on January 3, while their final pre-split meeting is at Ibrox on February 28.

December is a busy month for Celtic, with the team scheduled to play six league games. They will also have a European fixture to contend with.

Having finished miles clear of their rivals last season, Celtic are worthy favourites with the bookmakers to win their fifth consecutive title.

Rangers will hope to mount a more serious challenge, but their appointment of Russell Martin as manager does not inspire confidence in their chances.

Celtic were head and shoulders above the rest in Scotland last season and they are strongly fancied to add yet another league title to their tally.
