Had similar thoughts about Engels recently. That's one tangible thing he can work on in pre season that can, as you say, take him up a level. There are others, like receiving the ball back to goal, turning and moving the ball up the park quickly. Wouldn't take much for him to master these type of things and become an excellent player.

I put Bernardo in the same bracket, a few wee tweaks on the training pitch, lots of effort and a good pre-season and he could be a huge asset. Same goes for Idah.

 

Sure someone mentioned that Oliver Antman at Go Ahead Eagels. Be magic for that RW position

 

I liked the look of him, he is another who was at Nordsjaellland but with Adringa, Sulemana, Osman and Scheldrup etc being there didn’t really get a run. He would be a good Kuhn replacement for RW as he is very fast, more powerful than Kuhn and prepared to go to the byline with an eye for a cut back or low cross.

Given what he would cost he is someone else I think that could offer good value and have an impact in Europe for us.

 

Noticed for the Danish under 21's coming on shortly a boy called Noah Nartey..

19 year old centre mid who we'll be very aware of at Brondby due to us scouting Kvistgaarden for 12 year..

He looks class

That kind of player who has certain qualities of McGregor in being able to take the ball forward in to space or beat a man but more natural in the defensive side of the game....much more physically imposing and aggressive

He had 3 goals and 5 assists in 27 and is the deep lying midfielder in a lot of the clips..

 

If were looking at a Japanese CB it should be this lad.

That one was a bit unfortunate as it did sound like we were ready to bid then he got a collarbone freak injury in the next game.

It would likely be him or Orjasaeter and the later seems to be more in the frame just now.

 

He does actually look a pretty decent player tbf dealbreaker for me would be whether he has still has the blonde hair or not... * shocking decision man lol.

 

Where that would be ideal I can see us signing one of them, Balikwisha, Nygren, Osmand and possibly a more development option like the lad from Anderlecht that was mentioned or someone else rather than two big investments.

Either that we don’t buy one of Orjasaeter or Balikwisha, we buy a striker like Strelec and Maeda is back being a left winger.

 

I agree, there is a lot to Strelec’s game to like.

I also agree we still need a right and left winger but to me this is where Maeda comes in, is he our main striker or main left winger?

If it’s main striker we need a right and left winger with Nygren being an option at RW or AM, I think if Balikwisha comes in he would be LW or AM, Orjasaeter would be LW could play RW at a push. Then we likely need another right winger to rotate with Nygren.

If we see Maeda as a left winger and signed a Strelec he has played as a ST or a 10 previously. I think you sign one of Balikwisha or Orjasaeter and then buy a starting right winger to compete with Nygren who would more often play as a AM in that model.

So to me it comes down to where Maeda can do both where do we primarily see him playing to build the rest of the squad around.

 

We should be all over trying to sign Kwame Poku

 

Seen someone mention that both Fabian Reider and Albert Gronbaek are up for sale at Rennes. Would be all * over both of them.

Could probably get both for £20m and no doubt we could get around £12m for Hatate.
