Honestly what's the point of updates like this?

 

Former player linked to a new club

 

I remember him playing exactly 1 game for us, but what a game it was! (3-2 dead rubber win over Betis with a team of kids and rejects)

 

Time for change you pair of kangaroos are hopeless

 

Hopefully a decent sell on in there for us.

Lad must've done well over there to get that move from Ligue 2.

 

Didn't realise he was in the MLS now. He entered my head as it occurred to me in the Stephen Welsh thread that the Belgian teams love our * defenders.

 

* defenders who end up decent when they leave

 

Seems to be no matter how * you are, there's always the MLS to fall back on

 

In fairness to the guy, there was that one game against Betis where he showed some genuine potential. It obviously never materialised in to anything, although I don’t remember him really getting many chances past that, but there’s been guys that have played for us that haven’t even managed to muster up that sort of brief, faint hope.

He was almost like a poorer version of Calvin Bassey at the Huns (and I appreciate that might read like a damning indictment) - technically limited, but big, strong and fairly quick. You probably won’t be winning the Ballon d’Or, but those attributes can carry you to a decent enough career.

 

England-Scotland-Belgium-France-America as career path locations. At 24 years old I know I’d love that! Haha

 

I mean I know politically the USA is probably a crazy place to be, but much like anything. With money in your pocket that being a professional athlete affords you, in the right state - I'd say * it as well and move to the MLS if I was a young footballer with a middling career
