Stop employing ex players with sketchy credentials as youth and reserve coaches.

Name a stand after Fergus McCann.

Better links with the Green brigade.

Increase the wage structure but only if it's affordable. This is for bringing in a tasty free transfer or older player that won't have a sell on but could give us that extra class we sometimes lack at the highest level.

    • Jazz up the external of the stadium a bit.
    • Do something with Janefield Street, like a building site just now at both ends. Infact all round the external of the stadium. Making the Celtic Way look that good while neglecting the rest of it was ridiculous.
    • Look at the pitch again. Was a shambles at times last season.
    • On the staff front, do something drastic with our scouting and stop with the jobs for the boys * we seem to be guilty of. Have the best guys for the job running our youth squads etc rather than whichever former player is free to do it.
    • Extend the standing section to a full stand. The demand for standing will continue to grow and what we have just now doesn't seem enough.

I don't think any of those are impossible to achieve.

With the ticket pricing I'm a billionaire in this fantasy scenario who supports celtic. So I wouldn't be selling tickets at 40 quid for hibs at home.

Even reducing those to 25 quid. I'll take the hit and put my own millions into the club. Make profit from winning the league and wualifiyig for the UCL + Player sales. It wouldn't put the club under.

The other two there's ways around both. The yourh players even bringing them in at 16 with a view to first team games immediately by 17 and 18 if they're good enough. That ones more about targeting a higher level of youth player who can make a near instant impact.

And the larger standing section, just need to aork around it. I'm sure at last count there was a 20k waiting list for the standing section alone according to my mates who are in there. So the demand is enough.

If folk moaned I'd just turn evil dictator and turf them oot.

    1. Openly support the Palestinians at every opportunity. Speak out against the ongoing genocide in Gaza!

    2. I think it's vital that the youth teams and the 1st team use the same facilities. Young players get inspired training next to their idols, plus the manager can follow their progress closely. The Barrowfield redevelopment is a step in the right direction, but it's not enough. Next step should be expansion by acquiring the property right next to the current facilities.

    1. Improve the academy by bringing in experienced staff while Lennoxtown and Barrowfield are redone.
    2. Ditch betting/alky sponsors, replace them with Japanese or Korean car makers/tech companies.
    3. Release funding for more scouts on a permanent basis.

There’s a reason fan ownership rarely works out well as a business unfortunately but I like to see some middle ground between what we have just now and a fan ownership mindset.

Actually engage with the fans for a start and ask what they want/need.

There are clear avenues the club could gain money from long term especially the academy set up, ticket swaps and improvements around the stadium with likes a hotel & stadium improvements.

Our transfer policy is the best we can realistically in terms of spending & wages, but we are definitely inefficient and reactive for replacements.

    • Replace all DD's useless family and friends with my own (I respect tradition)
    • Put in place a puppet DoF so I can play Football Manager but with real lives
    • Expand the safe standing section and use the Main Stand's new tier to relocate ST holders who object
    • Put in place a ticket exchange allowing people to resell tickets for 90% face value whilst the club skim the other 10% (don't worry - within 10 years we'll be skimming 50%)
    • Improve our Academy's reputation so as to serve as a profit-driven exporter of young Scottish players, supported by investment in grass-roots development (local academies that funnel to Celtic)
    • Lobby constantly for inclusion into English league system, bribing corrupt FA officials whenever and wherever possible
    • Begin a secret Catholic society to counter Masonic influence and exert covert influence over all areas of public life, starting with the Referee Committee
    • Found a big, beautiful museum and place a generously proportioned statue to myself at its gate (I deserve it)

    Personally I'd go for:
    • Aggressive overspending of budget
    • Increase the club debt
    • Pay players via some dodgy/illegal tax scheme
    • Defer paying taxes to buy mediocre players
    • Be prepared to cash out if necessary and pass any liabilities to pretty much anyone regardless of whether the club can survive
A bit boring but I think this sort of approach could work

My first focus would be on the academy. More homegrown talent, talent coming to us to develop and either sell or get them into the squad.

then a proper scouting network. Get the players before they make the move to the big time. We should be the name for emerging talent, that would be the goal.

and finally a statue of the king of kings…Steve guppy.

    - complete the bowl ; that added extra income ensures our financial superiority for decades.
Get rid of that * piping and install LED covers around the stadium.

    - expand the standing section; we want some more.

    - Modernise the Scouting dept ; with permanent scouts tied to contracts, assigned to specific geographic areas based on their career experience.

    - appoint a direct liaison officer for the GB; sorely needed in light of recent seasons. The appointment would be completely transparent with minutes of meetings, guidelines and a code of conduct published; thus removing any doubt or opaqueness over expectations, as well as ensuring the club cannot go back on its word or retrospectively punish the GB based on English media "outrage".

    - Remove dafabet as a sponsor; engage one that is more socially responsible like Huda or Ben&Jerrys. An additional charity sponsor should also be added for the sleeve and stadium signage, such as Trocaire, Save The Children or Oxfam.

    - Guaranteed Cost of living increase for staff ; minimum wage isnt enough. It would be pegged to the consumer price index.

    - More statues ; Statues for Henke, Willie Maley, maybe even the bunnet.

    - Modernise the academy and expand its scope; at least 5% of all transfer profit income to be reinvested to facilitate.

    - create staff and recruitment advisory board; to review all non playing employee appointments and candidates based upon job suitability; with authority and oversight to veto appointments deemed unqualified and that are the product of nepotism. Ex Lawells and Desmonds.

    - Bring litigation against the SFA; ratify Resolution 12.

    - Initiate creating a cross club consensus to allow foreign referees; needed more than anything in the Scottish game right now. The standard of refereeing is quite possibly the worst in Western Europe. Even Sevco would need to get on board given how theyve whipped their fans into a frenzy with their statements.

Probably immediately embarrass * out of us arguing with 90% of the support baffled at our opinions. Get forced out after I call a Celtic Da a throbber at an AGM when they demand me to sort out masonic referees or something like that.

Judging by me on here, I’d spend a lot of time arguing I imagine.

suppose that’s more communication with the support at least that.

Outwith that, I’d make sure I have football people in place to keep me in check and not overstep, priority would be building a recruitment network similar to how the likes of Salzburg work.

I’d make sure to have a full backroom staff to make the club seamless for any change of manager to be able to just slide into the role, and have it fluid, and a continuous foundation there. One thing I wouldn’t do, is a DoF, I’d have staff in place pretty much doing that job but I wouldn’t have an actual DoF, above the manager. I’ve never liked that. The man in charge of the team shouldn’t have someone above him on team matters, controlling the shape of the squad but not implementing it.

But in the system I’d want, I would always have a list of 5 or so managers I’d feel happy to work in that system at all times, so we’re always prepared for just incase

    1. Get the best recruitment team/system possible
    2. Put serious work into the youth academy. Not this jobs for the boys *. Push the SFA to bring back a reserve league, get better at loaning youngsters
    3. Get rid of the current boardroom and replace them with forward thinking people
    4. Be more adventurous in the transfer market. Not this buy in what we sell. We get millions a year from season tickets, Europe, advertisements, merchandise. Not good to have over 100m just sitting there
    5. Revamp the stadium

    1. Increase the turnover to a minimum of £160 million per year, by tapping into our worldwide fan clubs and supporters clubs.
    2. Increase spending on Youth development and make the jump from youth football to 1st team a conveyor belt. Bringing thru a minimum of 3 players each year. better paid youth coaches, sports science and education. The kids should all get 1st rate education. Make the league cup a youth tournament, with 3 reserve players allowed per team.
    3. Complete the stadium and bring in a high standard of boxes for corporate hospitality. To ensure the best of the best for the prawn sandwich brigade. Bring up the entertainment opportunities within the Celtic park Campus to American sports standards. By completing the stadium we would have a minimum 80k capacity. Family friendly section in main stand.
    4. Invest in state of the art player recruitment team and model to ensure that we have a strong 1st XI and the rest of the squad made up of our youth players.
    5. Regular participation in Champions League.
