He wouldn't be free though, he got a year extension in December. Rumours of him on 75kpw. I just don't see him coming here.

Becomes a free agent on the 1st of July. Reckon there's any chance he ends up here?

We'll be short of a third keeper and we do have a habit of inviting back former players. Can't imagine he'll have too many suitors at 37 and having played his last run of games in a struggling Spurs side that shipped tonnes of goals.

With some expressing doubts about Kasper going into next year (which I don't agree with btw), and with Sinisalo still being young and untested at the European level, Forster could possibly be seen by our board as an insurance option.

We've brought in Ross Doohan from Aberdeen to replace Bain so can't see anything happening with Forster.

Happy as * him signing there, boyhood club, a real good move and happened that fast that we don’t have a summer of being linked.

I adore him, but if that happened him coming back, it’s 2 top class old keepers fighting it out. And Sinisalo would be sidelined without a glimpse of him until both retired probably in a year or two, and that’d be a shame.

Forster is obviously better right now, but Sinisalo impresses me, he needs nurturing to be moulded into the number 1 for when Kaspar goes. He’s astoundingly assuring for a keeper his age, showed some good saves, the time he came in you can see he’s taken a lot from Kaspar and that’s something I love to see from a youngster, he does the Peter Schmiechal balls first spread yourself style, that Kaspar got off his Da, and Sinisalo the same. Shows he’s keen to learn for me.

He’s what? 21/22? I’m excited about him. *, look at Forster his first season as a young keeper. He was nowhere near as polished, he showed raw talent and worked to grow into what he was. Sinisalo as a young keeper, think it’s under the radar a bit just how exciting he is. And it’s because he’s that assured, calm, and understated. He tries to not need a fancy save, he tries to anticipate where to stand for the easy one. And we all liked him, but think because it’s quite understated style, the potential in him has went unnoticed.

On topic for Forster himself though, delighted for him. He impressed here for 2 years on loan, went back to fight for his place and Pardew dismissed anything he’d done saying up here doesn’t mean anything, a couple games in Europe being impressive doesn’t count. He was a * *, and that would have crushed Forster at the time.

Was a fuel for him, we bought him permanently and that’s when him and Woods said the aim was play for England, while playing here and he broke his balls to do it. And he did. Going back there, at this stage of his career, knowing he’s a top quality option if needed to come in. That must be cathartic

Such a waste of sporting career. A great keeper being happy spending most of his career warming a bench. Earns good money though

Way to good to not play
