I remember flying through my mothers birth canal at some remarkable speed. You missed the Lisbon Lions by a year and half that's unlucky but at least you were born close to paradise. Anything pre-birth we aren't supposed to remember but I reckon if * said throw a dart at this here atlas and wherever it lands you'll be born, well you've got to have some luck to be a Glaswegian tim. Orcs got the right city and time period but are cursed with the worst most despised club the world has ever seen. Imagine your whole life being one of them, I would be staunch too, so embarassingly staunch...

I remember watching the 1967 European Cup final on TV live. My Dad had to go to work in the evening and he kept going to the front door and coming back "just for another minute". I can still picture him in his tan coloured raincoat all these years later. I was too young to appreciate the significance of what was going on.

After the summer holidays when we were back at primary school we had a visit from Billy McNeil (and I think Bobby Lennox), who brought the cup round all the classrooms and the boys in the class were allowed to touch the cup.

After that I was interested and a relation took me a couple of years later to Parkhead for the first time. We won 3-1 against a team in vertical stripes so could have been Kilmarnock or St Mirren possibly.

Dad took me to plenty games throughout the early 2000s during the MON era, didn't fully appreciate the talent we had back then due to how young I was, Larsson, Hartson, Sutton, Lubo, Petrov etc, got plenty pictures and autographs during those times, loved going to Barrowfield, as my dad held me above his shoulders and I watched the players train, then we would jump into the car and head to Celtic Park (because during those days before Lennoxtown the players would head to Celtic Park after training to shower etc then head home from the car park) to get as many pictures and autographs as possible

Also remember running about daft upstairs whilst on the phone to my mate from school as we both watched Blackburn away and Liverpool away simultaneously (think the games were on channel 5)

Despite that though, the Celtic bug didn't fully grip me and take over until April 2008, the night time game against the huns, when Naka scored a cracker and big Jan headed home in the final seconds to keep the title race alive, wow, the adrenaline was off the charts and from that moment I was hooked

I was born into it but I have a couple of memories of going to the old celtic park. Not sure I ever saw us win there!

I think my first game was against Motherwell in 1991 and we lost 2 1. Earliest memories were mostly thinking we werent very good, the area was a dump, the stadium was a dump, and everyone was pretty angry and wanted to sack the board.

My first season ticket was the Hampden year which I remember bits and pieces of. Happy memory beating Rangers 3 0 even though the league was long lost. Probably hooked from the point of the new Celtic Park being built - thats when I remember a lot more.

It is mate , my brother who is 2 years older was born in Paisley so it was always on the cards for banter regarding birth places.

Growing up in Castlemilk in the late 70s and 80s ,the thing to have was a trans card cheap as chips and could travel all over Glasgow which we did.it was great heading down to Parkhead on a sat and sneaking in the last 20 mins on match days

My first official game was the 1980 Real Madrid match 72k in there that night I was 11 at the time, stay press troosers and Harringtons lol

    Good old days.
