It's now or never for Miller, I imagine. Mcgregor has 2 years left maybe at a good level, for me. I'm a broken record but I see Miller as his successor. In terms of that deep lying role.

Don't think he will come here mind.

When ive seen him and his videos, as well as his quality on the ball, his numbers must be impressive off it..

Seems to intercept a lot, press well and generally be good in the challenge. That was his passing and creativity, he'd do well here..

I've no doubt about it. I think if we genuinely did want him, we probably could get him..

Sorry to pish in your chips, but Miller ain't ever coming here. You can take that to the bank.

But don't worry, Paul Tisdale is on the job elsewhere.

It frustrates me that after Ange left we completely stopped looking at a Japanese market that we’ve got a lot of value out of.

    There’s talent in that league.

Evan Ferguson is undoubtedly going to be linked.

Apparently lost a bit of pace after his injury. But when he broke through he looked devastating. The idea of him on the end of Tierney crosses.

Can't see it, but he will definitely be linked.

There’s a few specific ones I hope we’re looking at that are performing well but I just can’t imagine Rodgers would okay any signing from there again. Which is a shame as you can guarantee their work ethic is always brilliant

If we could get him and Rodgers could get him to 75 percent of his potential it would be frightening. The fact Parrott is linked for 25 mill to wolves suggests someone somewhere in pl would offer more than us

With Parrott though he's gone to AZ and had a good season of goalscoring.

Kinda shows that even if we could get Ferguson on a loan to buy for say £15m and he was a success then there's easy profit to be made.

    He's still only 20.

Ferguson's stats do not look impressive at all. 60 appearances for Brighton and only 13 goals.

    Would rather try Sam Dalby.

Sam Dalby who previous to this season had 7 goals in 73 games for Wrexham?

Stats don't tell the full story.

Ferguson has about 19 in 70 games down south at EPL level. 20 years old with plenty potential left.

Ferguson would be well outside our price range to buy Id say. Hes on a long term deal at Brighton who will still be hoping to either develop him or sell him for decent money (he was being talked about as a 70-80mil player at one point).

Think we would be stretching to even get him on loan. He would be expensive for us and despite his downturn in form would probably still attract a fair bit of interest from other clubs. I would imagine that Brighton would be looking for a loan fee plus his 30k or so weekly wage covered.

Dalby might have simply had a purple patch, but it's better than Ferguson's no purple patch. Not every player has "potential".
    We have Idah anyway.

If we were going for an spfl striker I would take gueye anyway, has a bit about him in build up play and ball progression

Are you going to ignore that absolutely blatant difference in levels that they're both operating in, aye?

Ferguson has 19 goals at Premier League level. He's 20 years old and has shown ridiculous amount of talent. I'd * love him here provided it includes a buy out option in the deal.

Sam Dalby failed at a Holywood run Wrexham and recently had a decent season in the league up here. I love the Premiership up here but let's not pretend it's even close to the level of the EPL.

    You're clearly trolling.

I'm not. I seriously fail to see what's the big deal with Ferguson. Overrated, overpaid, ruined by injury. I know Dalby wouldn't be all that cheap either, but he's done a job for a team worse than ours.

I'm not saying we must get Dalby, BTW. We don't need to unsettle Idah, who is doing fine. At a push, an older head to mentor him is the best solution to the striker question.

Ruined by injury. He's 20 years old for * sake. Let's compare what Ferguson does at 25 and what Sam * Dalby has done at 25 when the time comes.

Your takes are getting worse in here, hence the accusation you're trolling.

have you ever even seen Ferguson play? Stats are handy but it sounds like you literally look at stats and ignore anything else. Including context, level played at, age, potential, and basically everything else.

No, but plenty of us here give opinions on players we're linked with based on stats. 13 in 60 is bad for a striker. I wouldn't even take such a striker on loan.
