    In fairness to the guy, there was that one game against Betis where he showed some genuine potential. It obviously never materialised in to anything, although I don’t remember him really getting many chances past that, but there’s been guys that have played for us that haven’t even managed to muster up that sort of brief, faint hope.

    He was almost like a poorer version of Calvin Bassey at the Huns (and I appreciate that might read like a damming indictment) - technically limited, but big, strong and fairly quick. You probably won’t be winning the Ballon d’Or, but those attributes can carry you to a decent enough career.
