Like yourself BA, I like animals that wouldn't be everyone's first choice. I love Giraffes and Moose. Cool as * animals.
I also love Humpback Whales. I love most animals but some more than others

I was obsessed with sea creatures when I was a child. The blue whale in particular was fascinating because of its sheer size compared to humans. I would sit and read non fiction books about sealife. My Grandad on my mothers side was a marine biologist, he dedicated his life to studying fishes and used to take me to the aquarium when I visited him.
Before he died he took my whole family to South Africa in 2010. I saw giraffe, Rhinoceros and crocodiles all in the wild.

@johnboy19 I saw this a while back and I still find it hilarious. The last thing you should do when completely drunk is to try and mess with a moose.

I can imagine there's fluffs of cottonwool lying all about the place. Could be a major clean up needed and animal welfare involved lol.

A few from a fine and sunny Colgagh (according to the weather forecast it's the last fine and sunny day for quite a while) last week.

Springwatch is back:36: It was brilliant as usual last night, the highlight for me being that fine 37 year old Irishman with Autism and his love for recording bird sound, very moving and fantastic. A total inspiration for many.

There's a fantastic documentary about him on RTE player Pete, i'm nearly sure it was on the BBC a few weeks ago so you might get it on the Iplayer, coincidently i'm going to the Hawkswell theatre here in Sligo on Thursday evening to see him give a lecture on birdsong. :50:

A wee update on the lecture, I went down to the theatre this morning for a ticket, no ticket to be had, it's completely sold out and has long line of people waiting for a cancellation, I was * sure I could saunter in to the box office and come out with a ticket, just shows the popularity of young Sean.
