He has 4 years left does he not.. he has the ability when it suits him. Has to be north of 15 and I'd fancy it was agreed months ago .. not like he was playing to drum up any sort of interest over the past 3 months

Agree body language is poor, as it was when he was playing well - so no change there.
As others pointed his assists and goals stats are superb, especially brilliant if he has been so pish (as folks here say) over last 3 months.

But If we keep playing walking pace football, wait until opposition has 11 behind ball, have 2-3 players against both your wingers and you are continually starting from standing start - no wonder it's so feckin hard.

Players like Kuhn thrive on the transition, the fast attacks and one touch football.
All our wide and front players have generally struggled since Bayern, Kyogo before then.

The current tippy tappy, slow, negative * we play is killing all our creativity, all over the team.
It's simply not Kuhns fault, get off his back.
I for one will be delighted to see him line up for us next season.

I'm sorry but I'm no having that..

I've lost count at the amount of times the ball has gone out to Kuhn fairly quickly where he's 1 on 1 with the left back and he's stopped, waited, took the safe option and passed back.
He has excellent close feet, particularly when running at speed....where he's also rapid. Yet goes back or passes the buck..

He wasn't doing that first half of the season..

Fair point, he's not immune from that criticism - the tippy tappy disease has spread everywhere.

But you have to concede he is all too often starting from standing start against multiple defenders and he is not being used or supplied with the same quality, positivity or pace to get the best from him?

We are at least agreed on the positivity and urgency problem - sort that and we'll be in good shape.

First half of the season Kyogo was dragging defenders all over the place creating space. I said it at the time, even though Kyogo's goals and direct assist numbers weren't that great Maeda and Kuhn were able to get good numbers due to his work off the ball creating space.

That's not to say I want Kyogo back or anything, just pointing out his leaving and Kuhn's dip in form happening around the same time is probably not a coincidence. Maeda when he plays up front is much more direct and Idah... well he too often makes the wrong choice of run, or doesn't run, meaning things are much more congested in the opposition box than they were previously. That doesn't excuse him being half arsed since we exited the CL, he could definitely have done better than he has of late even with less space available.

    It comes down to recruitment.

Do i think theres an element of checking out or potentially not the bravest of players? Yes to both.

But both im not 100% but what i am 100% on is on form hes the best right winger we have at the club.

Do i have faith our recruitment will replace him for like for like, well out of all the % that is the lowest.

Be careful what we wish for!

Agree with all of this. He's the new Ntcham for me: all the talent in the world and an attitude that will stop him ever reaching his potential.

At least if we are selling him we have learned our lesson from the Ntcham and Boyata experience.

I think its a mix of form, tactics and attitude with him.

Our set up and approach to games is very predicable. I think teams are starting to get better at dealing with it. They know we want to get the ball out wide and then with cut inside or look for an overlapping player. I dont think thats helped him.

Clearly though his performances are down a level and either because of that or vice versa, his attitude doesnt look good either.

Think whether he stays or goes hinges on how much he wants to be here or not. If he wants to leave theres not choice other than to sell him.

Not saying they are but if we got something like that we need to pack his bags as fast as we can

Tactics might be the wrong term since people confuse it with formation.

Rodgers uses the word intensity. Tempo is another word. Mostly the difference between Rodgers team playing well and not playing well is whether the ball is moving quickly through the team or not.

When it’s slow and possession based it always goes out wide and the whole Celtic support expects our wingers to beat multiple defenders and groans when they don’t.

Earlier in the season we were driving the ball quickly using the middle of the park and our wingers were benefitting from that.

More recently that intensity has dropped, but rather than blame the collective, we turn on the wingers as usual.

It’s Kuhn now, I’ve seen Maeda and Forrest get it. It’ll be Jota one day when he’s back playing in the side.

The same tactics that delivered a 106 point invincible season delivered us dropped points in 36% of games the following season. That’s how Rodgers works. He works hard then loses interest.

That’s what happened this season and it shows up most in the wide players, who always become ‘* and disinterested’ when it’s actually the whole team not playing with intensity and just relying on wingers to ‘make it happen’.

What did we pay for him again? Was it 3.5m ?

anything over ten would be a big win.
15m would be doing very well
20m I think we would be lucky to get.

He's a one-trick pony who had an incredible purple patch.

Shame his attitude is rotten as his dour face.

Anything over £6m will be a blessing.

I think we'd be doing well to get more than £12.5m for him.

I'd sell him in a heartbeat.

We missed the boat with Ntcham. We shouldn't with Kuhn. His stock is never going to be higher than it is now for us.

Obviously thought Leipzig was a better option than Brentford or Newcastle

It was £3m, I think we will be looking to get around £15m for him.

x5 what we paid in 18months and he's only showed up for a third of that time - snap whoevers hand off.

He may go on to be better than he's done for us, maybe not. But its clear he aint gonna step it up again. Take what we can at that sort of fee range.

Good player on his day but I always got the feeling he would shy away from the game if the other team got physical with him.

    15 million would be decent
