Absolute pish, anyone defending that is having a * laugh. I saw someone on Celtic twitter saying he'd not even make junior level and I think that's as accurate as I'd say.

 

There has to be better in the youth set up than this fella.

Historically we've let guys like Doak and Vata leave, and the signed Yang. Doesn't make sense to me.

 

Thought he was very, very poor today. Just not good enough for what’s required.

We see it in flashes but at Celtic it needs to be more than that. Not really sure he can be blamed tbh.
One of those players who might kick on at another side but I think we have seen enough from him to know that he doesn’t have the technical quality that we need of him

 

Desperately poor, doesn't have the basics technically.

Looked terrified every time the ball came near him. The crowd constantly shouting at him didn't help either.

 

I think he's half the player Mackay Steven was when we signed him.

Yang would probably look really good at Motherwell or St Mirren, he'd pop up once every 5 games or so with a bit of magic.

Unfortunately that level of end product isn't going to cut the mustard at Celtic.

 

Said the other week he’s going to have a big year next year, I talk ballox and he has the mentality of a fish. Nowhere near it.

 

One thing i am willing to defend him on is trying to take a man on, as pathetic as he was.

Not one player all day tried to make something happen other than him.

 

Really want to like him but you never feel like he can change a game for us. Still think he will be here next year due to Jota’s injury.

 

He tried to take on the responsibility and he was pretty much the only one who was at the end up

 

He made an absolute mess of what should have been two goals.

The first was when he didn’t just slip McCowan in after probably our only decent move of the game.

The second was that one he put out the park at the end of ET when all he had to do was put the ball into the 6 yard box and Maeda had a tap in.

 

There was a moment when we had the penalty claim and the ball had broke out the box and he literally just stopped playing

That's stuff that you learn at boys club level football, you play until you hear the whistle.

Yang was stood having a * while the ball was still in play. Pathetic penalty claim as well, could half understand if it was a stonewaller.

I think it's how naive a lot of our players are as well.

I always go back to the Rodgers bringing on Yang at Ibrox when we were 3-2 up to help see the game out, why he never brought on Forrest who's far more economic with the ball ill never know.

Yang * about and kept losing possession, I canny remember exactly but I think he lost the ball in the build up to their equaliser, also allowed Matondo to dance by him as if he wasn't there and then equalised.

That goal didn't mean much in the end up, but yeah I wish our players were a bit more street smart. Oddly it's our two right backs who tend to know when to go down, know when to be cute when needed etc.

 

Has a wee something about him here and there but we need genuine game changers out wide this summer, up top and in midfield..
