True, you didn't. Aberdeen executing a gameplan though I don't think they did either - they did the defensive bit but unless they were hoping for pens they didn't execute it well at all.

If anyone deserved to win it was us and that's not sour grapes at all. There was only 1 team in that 90mins trying to attack and it wasn't Aberdeen.

Can't see Spurs sacking Ange after winning the Europa League and qualifying them for the CL, would much prefer Ange than Rodgers, at least under Ange the football was more entertaining to watch.

We were in cruise control, Aberdeen were down and out and the treble was there for the taking.
And then Schemeichel inexplicably threw the ball into his own net.

He knocked the stuffing and confidence out of the whole team, with that one moment of sheer madness.
Brendan must carry the can for playing Schemeichel for sentimentality reasons.

It was pretty much the last kick of the 90 that the first one was hit over the bar when he should have scored.

Anyway, pointless arguing as I don't think there is much of a difference in how we see it other than a slightly perspective.

According to stats Celtic had 101 minutes with the ball and only 3 shots on target that's * unforgivable and will keep saying the midfield needs a clear out and also two quality wingers brought in and a quality striker.

Credit? To a team in a final that has 11 men behind the ball?

No * way.....If they came out and played football and gubbed us it wouldnt have bothered me as much.

To win playing like that and hoping for penalties as soon as the game kicked off is * brutal.

The only credit i give them is that they knew about Kaspers injury and hit near every penalty to that side and high.

They won the * game, we didn’t. Whatever plan they had / the way their game plan worked out, they won, end of.

Tend to agree , is that not the tactics we deployed to beat Barcelona in 2012?To be a good team you need to be able to break up the defense. Which by only scoring one goal. We never did. Anyway onto season 2025/26. That's last year dead and buried for me

I watch spurs podcasts and I can tell you alot of supporters still want Ang sacked and I can see levy letting him go and this club deserves all it's coming to them if they do sack Ang as he's got them a European trophy and champions league and they are still not happy a toxic support.

ange finally building something at spurs just needs to add some quality on top of what they got and they're good to go. but they're as dumb as a box of rocks and will sack him and a new manager will want his own players and they'll be back to square 1. * club mentality :31:

I remember we played like that against Barcelona.

Was so proud we beat them.

The best one is the * who doesn't step foot off the bus front or middle door at any point of the trouble at the lights or when it parked up again by the bus stop. Then 2 polis arrive and he's bouncing off with his belt, marching about to no * and screaming at others to get off :56:

    Complete and utter melt :giggle1:

The one when they are all piling on the bus in fear, pure cramming themselves in trying to get on.

The other boys turn and leave and one of them peaks their head out and throws a bottle. * bawbags.

Aye, trying no to get run over by motors in the process..

Then huddled trying to cram back on from about 4 boys :giggle1: You'd never go back on that bus again watching the amount of shitebags no getting off, running or piling off when no one was there :giggle1:

The belt boy must be the biggest laughing stock in their pub..

Something I noticed which wasn’t as big an issue as our other issues.

Why is the atmosphere so flat these days? The Green Brigade did their thing as always but it doesn’t “radiate” around the ground as much as before.

I was about 2 sections away from them and occasionally felt like a * for clapping along to chants whilst everyone around is just standing there in complete silence.

I noticed the same at the champions league games this season.

Got over it very quickly tbh. Can’t win them all and losing is just part of football. Least it wanst against them that always makes it harder.

Team has been way off it for a while imo. Since Bayern I would say. Once that game was over there wasn’t really much else to play for this season bar this.

We are an excellent team when we are at it clearly as we showed earlier this season and in Europe, we just need more competition domestically to keep us on our toes and to improve us.
