It’s a * Arthritis , I can sympathise with you there.

Am a sufferer from child hood and going through a flare up right now.

It cripples me from the sacro joints down the legs

every bit of movement is painful and mentally exhausting.

Knowing that all we'll know about the entire thing is one blinding flash. We won't even hear the boom. Or feel anything. Or even know what's happened. Completely eradicated down to the last atom. It'll all be over soon

Getting the rare chance to drop the wee fella off at school, and seeing him trudge in with a smile on his face.

However, I’m getting married to the love of my life in a few short weeks

We have been together for a very long time, but now the time is almost upon us. She’s my best friend and I adore her more than words can ever say.

Anyway, I’m bursting with excitement

 

Notified that new passport will be delivered tomorrow. Less than 10 days since I applied for renewal. Fair play to them, excellent service.

Going out on Saturday for anniversary meal (18 years). Step daughter paying for it. Then away for couple of days to Lake District.

 

My mates a sign writer, mum and dads grave need repainting. He did it this weekend and I can’t thank him enough. Such a simple thing,but they died just 7 weeks apart after 43 years of marriage and it will be there for the kids/ grandkids to see. Not meant to be as sad as this is written, but hopefully uplifting lol

 

No football for a few months will give my old ticker a rest
