I've removed players that have been heavily rumoured or all but confirmed to be leaving in the summer:

    Taylor
    Carter-Vickers
    Kühn
    Hatate
(Possibly even Maeda or Engels going by the latest rumours)

I'd be surprised if any of the players currently out on loan came back and made an impact.

I don't think the club would be keen to lose so many first team players in one window, but losing a couple is a certainty. Taylor is offski but his main replacement is sorted, we just need a back up for Tierney.

If Hatate goes, we lose so much creativity in the middle of the pitch.

We need another winger or two with Kühn potentially leaving, and Jota being out injured for a while.

Carter-Vickers has been a rock at the back and will be incredible difficult to replace, if he does go. Along with Maeda and McGregor he's possibly the hardest player for us to replace.

I don't know if all of them will go, but even if a couple of key players leave, we need to replace them and we still haven't replaced Kyogo (I don't think we can rely on Kenny as back up to Idah).

Hopefully we manage to keep the bulk of this squad together to get through the European qualifiers, and not leave ourselves in a position without much depth in the squad.

I'd be hoping for 5 or 6 signings in the summer to refresh the squad and to replace those who might leave.

I can't see Rodgers allowing 4 or 5 key players to go in one window.

I'd imagine Kuhn and Hatate are most likely. Hopefully only them two.

If not we'd need 4 or 5 quality replacements as well as 4 quality incoming. That then presents quite a challenging window to a club who are notoriously awful at acting fast.

For me I want the following assuming noone in terms if first team quality leaves:

    CDM
CM with a view to Hatate or Engels leaving within the year
    RW
LW (loan to buy to cover Jota)
    CB
    ST

Ridding likes of Lagerbielke, Kwon, couple of the existing CBs etc off the books.

So 6 players I'd like. That's gonna jump to 10 if people start leaving easy. Then you're talking rebuild pretty much.

There won't be as many changes as people are predicting/fearing..

Hatate's injury probably stops a move, Kuhn, unless he lights up the Cup Final, his form 2nd half if the season probably stops a move too.

CCV would be incredibly difficult to replace as would Maeda.. those 2 are the worry for me..

I'm hoping we see a change of formation with KT back, sign a combative DM and rotate him with McGregor, Engels and Bernardo...

    A 10, ST and 2 wingers

I expect (and hope for) a lot of changes, this is (genuinely this time!) the biggest window in years.

We have an elite manager to retain, a champions league pot/progress to secure and an increased threat across the city.
If we don't significantly improve on this season's squad, I fear the worst achieving all of those critical goals.

PS - Title winning game last season, our scorers were Kyogo, O'Reilly and Palma - a lot can change quickly.

I too think there could be quite a bit of change. I think Kuhn will go despite his second half of the season slump, most teams looking at signing him will be looking a CL games for him and I would be surprised if he remains a Celtic player post summer. Hatate despite his injury it was suggested he would be good to go for preseason so I believe he will be off too.

CCV depends if you believe the rumours, and if Maeda doesn’t sign a new deal soon I think he could go too.

A lot of the others don’t play a massive part in our first team if at all.

We will be trying to shift all those out on loan, plus Nawrocki. Ideally sales in most cases but if 3 of the 4 above go we would probably be willing to put a few out on loan and hope they get their value up by doing well.

When you add Taylor to the above that is a substantial turnaround in our squad.

I would actually be pretty worried if our first team remained largely the same as despite being good players I think some are starting grow stale with the repetitive nature of our game.

On this, it depends how serious Hatate's injury is, and someone within the game has told me Kühn's move has been on the cards for a while. Doesn't mean it'll definitely happen, but it just makes me think he's looking for a move.

Kuhn before and after january has been night and day, would be the least surprising thing in the world if he had his head turned last window, been playing well within himself much more than just patchy form since then imo.

Aye I'd be surprised if we let that many go in one window, but we may let some go in the summer and then others in January.

A striker is the biggest priority for me though, regardless of outgoings.

Interesting. Hopefully he can be convinced to stay another year then.

Fwiw, I kinda felt that Hatate has looked happier more recently than he did previously in the season.

Maybe coz he has a move lined up mind :56:

Could also be that his English has improved and he’s felt more settled. Clutching at straws CSC.

Kuhn hopefully will go for the right fee, hatate is a 50/50. Can't see ccv going or there being that many outgoings from starters as predicted/feared

The thing with Hatate is its probably this season or never for s 'big move'. 27 and in his prime. Done all he can here.

Kuhn I think would be stupid to move as he's basing it off a really good 5 month spell pretty much. I was looking forward to him and Jota either side after a pre season but sadly not gonna happen.

It's difficult. There's gonna be a lot of interest in these players, maeda and Engels too. CCV. But we can't let them all go which presents an issue if one or two throw the dummy.

Maeda and CCV are in the "must not sell" category. Defenders with good decision-making are very tricky to find in the bracket we operate in, and Maeda is....well, Maeda. I'd hate to lose Hatate, our most creative midfielder, too.

I think CCV will stay based off his comments he made the other day. Maeda, I think it'll depend on what he gets offered.

Hatate & Taylor will go. Kuhn, I'm really not sure.

What’s this about CCV? I don’t see him leaving personally. Kuhns form also hasn’t been good enough I would say. One good half season here doesn’t earn you a big move typically. And someone better be ready to fork out the big bucks if they want Maeda.

Would be gutting to lose big Daizen but I’m sure we’ll be fine. We better loosen the purse strings though and actually sign * before the last 3 days of the window.

Hatate I’m pretty confident we could find a better player if we get 15m+ for him.

I don’t think we’ll get a bid for him that is worth it for us. £15m and above is what I think we would want. I can’t see that bid
