A few from last Saturdays boat trip, it was a fantastic 4 hour trip, watched a pod of Dolphins on the way out and the way back, saw a few Guillemots, Gannets and Seals, not a great trip photos wise:54:, i just couldn't get a decent shot of the Dolphins as they were far too fast for me this time although i did get a couple of hundred shots of splashes as they disappeared under the waves :52:, still, i enjoyed my afternoon outing but hope there's a morning trip next time.:50:

Yesterday on a fine 9 mile walk in a stunning part of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) I got a superb list of wildlife including great views of a male Ring Ouzel, 2 others noted. Good numbers of Cuckoo were in the area as well as 5 different singing Wood Warblers, again such handsome birds.
I also saw a pair of displaying Hen Harrier which totally delighted me as it is a good few years since I have seen both sexes on the same day. Also seen were Redstart, Wheatear, Tree Pipit, Red Kite, a pair of Kestrel and at a fine moorland Bog pool I came across 2 species of Dragonfly and 2 species of Damselfly.
At the end of the walk I was delighted by the brilliant turquoise blue with hints of emerald green of 3 Beautiful Damselflies on this lovely stream i got to know again recently, Brown Trout could easily be seen in the ever so clean water.

I'll never forget the friendly Robin who used to visit me on my lunchbreak. I could sit there just watching him go about his business for 15 minutes. I enjoyed that, when I was alone just me and the Robin sharing company and eating sandwiches.

Well it turns out that yesterday was the big day and for a third year running now our resident Robin mom has laid her eggs and is tending to them in her nest on a branch right outside one of the windows in our living room. I enjoyed some time this morning watching her on the nest while dad was flying around keeping watch in the back garden.

A few from loch Colgagh during the week, i've paid a few visits to Colgagh this year but found it unusually quiet, i took my hide out there on two fine sunny mornings and sat for a few hours to see what was around, things are looking up and it's starting to get a bit busy again, i even got a view of the local otter on one of the mornings.

    Glad you enjoyed it.
I'm fortunate, there's about a dozen around the pond.
