Reo Hatate

Hopefully we haven't seen the last of him in the hoops.

 

I've said it before, he could be worth more to us without selling him, for the CL qualifiers alone.

 

We are just not the same team without him. Our results without him then with him when he was injured for that long spell last season proves it.

 

We are still trying to get him on a new deal

Wouldn't sell him at all.

At his best, he's superb.
Inconsistent in ganes, due to what he attempts to pull off, but when it does, he's unreal

Kinda like a winger, you're gonna see them * up more, but when they beat a man and get that ball in, they're brilliant.

And also like today, it really depends who else is playing with him. Not that he needs help to lift his game, but more that the midfield trio balance just isn't right. We are missing a key player or two depending on what the style Rodgers wants that midfield trio to play.

If he's wanting an out and out DM, brilliant, Callum and Hatate can play further in front and do their things.
If Rodgers is looking for an out and out number 10, then fine as well, but it's likely that the others are dropped to then accommodate Hatate in a better role.

Missed him big time today.

 

We miss his killer pass and long range threat when he isn’t in the team

 

He could have been the difference in the game, wish him a speedy recovery.

 

With him and Jota out of the team we basically have no creative players.

Addressing this somehow is the most positive change we could make this summer. We know Jota is out for the early part of the season and even if Hatate stays we still need to do something about it.
