Yang Hyun Jun

Thought he was a mixed bag tonight. Not taking much from a dead rubber and a tap in.

 

His pace and dribbling mean he's always a threat. Decision making has improved but still needs to work on his finesse in the box for me.

 

He did a lot of good stuff tonight. I watched the whole game and don't remember him doing much wrong. Time will tell at the end of the day but he's certainly improved from this time last year.

 

I agree he did a lot good but there were three occasions early on where he was all over the place and another moment in the second half where his decision making should've been a lot better. Pleased he got a goal obviously but I still don't think he'll ever have what it takes to be a regular for us. Think there's a reason he was trusted to start tonight and not in so many other games before the league was won. I'd also agree he has improved.

 

Seems as if he has gained a bit of pace, well worth developing and staying put.

 

Developing very nicely under Brendan, like Maeda, his technique, decision making and end product has came on leaps and bounds from where it was

Before he was a sand dancer, could beat men for fun and carry the ball up the pitch but would then either over or under hit his pass, make the wrong pass or just have an effort that was nowhere close, all that side of his came is now really starting to come together, promising

 

With Jota's injury, I'd be happy to keep him until January at the very least.

 

A massive chance for him with Jota out-and he looks like he will be up for the challenge.

 

I’ve been back and forth on the guy a few times, but I do actually think he’s turning a corner now. His decision making has been a lot better recently.

 

Once again, he was getting into good positions but wasn't clinical enough. I guess you have to be there to miss them though.

 

Really like him. Fancy him to have a breakout season next year.

 

Never fancy him to score or assist when we’re behind or it’s a big game. Really needs a breakout year next year if he stays for me.

 

Player of the year next season.

 

Thought he was sloppy as * today but, to be fair to the guy, he’s improved hugely in the last few months.

 

Just seeing development in him right now, he was so raw before, just seems that the coaching is getting through to him and I am expecting big things from him next season. Like his attitude too, seems focused.

 

As a squad player, he's decent enough. Happy to play either flank and can chip in with the odd goal. You just wonder if he has another level in him. Just a bit erratic at times but maybe with even more experience his end product, in terms of assists, can improve.

Happy to have him around tbh. Seen far worse wingers in our squad starting games.

 

Just like Daizen, his miss was pretty poor..
