Pointless club organising anything. It would be * and overpriced and majority of folk would just head to trongate/merchant city area anyway as that's were all the bars are

.......Every year Glasgow City Council allows this insult to Protestantism. You wouldn't get Queens Park or Partick Thistle bring allowed a street party....and they get away with insulting Protestants cause the Fenians call it 'tradition' and 'culture'. Saying they blow rangers to * every season and have done for years. Why should we stop having mass street title parties? It's part of Glasgow culture for Celtic to win the league. In fact it's our * given right to insult Protestants in such a way every year. My father did it. His father did it. It must be right. *'s light shines on the righteous....

    ....sound familiar does it???

What we need to do now.....is the bonfires....every May......everytime we win the league, which is every year......the night before our street party title celebrations. Big bonfires.
Just so the persecuted Brits don't forget who's boss in this here country. Yous won't forget......cause we took yer * country of ye and we're gonna gloat like * about it....

    Sound familiar???

According to GCC it’s fine for knuckledragging bigoted scum to march through the city centre and their “followers” to scream and shout anti catholic bile with impunity. Obviously there are hurting huns in GCC who prefer to warn Celtic supporters not to attend the Trongate to celebrate a title win rather than risk the city centre being polluted by their “peepil”. They have short memories when it comes to these Neanderthals. George Sq. springs to mind.

Basically telling fans not to turn up and go home

Congratulations on being a Champion again and thank you for the fantastic support you have given the Club throughout the season.

We want everyone to enjoy these very special moments and we look forward to welcoming our fans to Celtic Park on Saturday for another great Trophy Day celebration.

Outside of Celtic Park, while we want to celebrate in style, we want to do so mindful of others and in a safe and responsible manner.

The Club has engaged in recent months with local community and residents’ groups, many of which include Celtic supporters, and it is clear that large gatherings in public spaces, even when positive and celebratory, can cause issues for those living and working in these areas.

While previous celebrations involving Celtic fans have been well intentioned, unfortunately, as local community stakeholders have made clear in recent weeks, some of these have led to severe congestion and difficulties for emergency services, residents and local businesses.

Further, without the planning, facilities and infrastructure of an organised, licensed event, the number of supporters present at previous gatherings has become so great that the safety of fans has also become an issue of real concern.

The Club encourages supporters to follow the advice issued recently by local community stakeholders in this regard.

For all of these reasons, the Club would encourage supporters not to attend unlicensed large public gatherings, which do not have safety planning, facilities or infrastructure for supporters attending.

Celtic has been trying for some time to work with city stakeholders to seek to discuss and develop plans, which might allow for a more suitable venue for celebratory events away from Celtic Park.

We can assure our fans that we will continue to do so, as we strive to develop appropriate arrangements for our supporters in the future, as is the case in other cities.

As we enjoy our fourth successive Premiership Title, let’s celebrate safely and responsibly.

Everyone at Celtic thanks you sincerely for your continued support.

Taken at face value I've no issue with the club or GCC asking folk not to congregate, it's a pain in the hole for yer average person whether it's us, huns or any other large gathering.

But they've no got a leg to stand on after giving they bigoted * permission to march on the same day. I hope it's the biggest one yet and it's statements galore. Good luck ya * gimps.

Well someone is not telling the truth… if club wants to organise a planned event like they say they could do as Glasgow City Council and Police are saying they would have supported it… but there was no application from the club. The club need to stop jumping on the * bandwagon of the middle classes of Glasgow and the * Police/Council and remember this club is built on and for its fans. If they have an issue with Trongate organise something and many people like me will go… but don’t * moan about me going to celebrate my Club winning the league when they can’t be * putting something on as a club as it is slightly inconvenient to them. More and more they treat us with contempt and forget why this club was formed.

go and celebrate tomorrow in any way you want…. It’s our club, our city, our colours and our * party! HH

Can't agree, we aren't animals like that shitshow of * across the city, breaking traffic lights and bus shelters aren't a part of celebrating success it just * being *.
That said enjoy the day and be safe comrade :ynwacelti

Should have organised the title party over at Govan/Ibrox,
It’s a * wasteland over there anyway, so no possibility of causing any damage.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the club. It's not their responsibility what happens on public streets.
This is yet another example of Police Scotland blaming football clubs for the fact the are not capable of doing their jobs.
Vast majority of decent folk and in particular the ones who attend today's game are gonna head back to pubs, as they do most weeks.
The issue is the ones drinking in the street and vandalising properties. Those folk are in the city centre long before the match has finished, that's got absolutely * all to do with Celtic.
Last time I checked vandalising properties and drinking in the street was illegal so perhaps those breaking the law should be the police's responsibility.
Just as it's not the clubs responsibility to go around picking up litter at Glasgow cross, that's the councils job, if they don't like having to foot the bill for it speak to the police about why they are allowing people to stand around in the middle of the street with carryouts.

Whether Celtic organise a public event or not those 2 issues would continue to happen bcoz many folk wouldn't attend due to Celtic's continued ability to fleece their own fans so would still end up in the city centre or the bam element that do attend would either end up trashing Glasgow green or would do it on their way up the road from the event. The difference is then the council and police could pin it on to the club and charge us for it.

It's not Celtics problem to fix

We’ve won 14titles in the last 15 years and the club still hasn’t gotten their finger out to organise something or at least help fans who can’t get tickets celebrate with the rest.

Passed through earlier while out, insane amount of people again, just folk enjoying themselves and celebrating our teams win.I didn’t see any bother,a lot of young ones just doing what young ones do,only harm done will be the mess with litter - GCC and Celtic really need to organise something up at the stadium in future.I did see the polis taking drinks off of blatantly underage people at the traffic lights so at least they were doing what they’ve supposed to do…bit of an impossible task in all fairness given the numbers.

I love these parties. I was at the one for Annie's last league game. Special.

I hope everyone was OK though. GCC are just bigoted daftness.
