Depends how capable they are of playing either wing. We need another winger to play on the right even if kuhn stays if he foes we need 2.

If both left leaves us with

Yang and Forrest to jota is back.

Could argue need 2 regardless if khun and daizen stay. You will play 40 games from August to February when jota back playing Wednesday or Thursday then Saturday or Sunday

 

The only thing is both prefer to play off the left. If we didn’t sign another striker and Maeda stays then possibly but if we bought both you then have Jota who also prefers the left when he is back. I would like us to sign one winger for each side.

 

We don’t need 2 wingers right now. Everyone fit, Jota and Kuhn are our first choice wingers. Jota is out, are the backups in Forrest and Yang good enough? If not, we may sign someone like Orjasaeter. He said he wanted 3 before we sold any players. We know a striker is definitely one of them, likely Kvistgaarden given we have been tracking him for 2 years. I reckon another would be a Jota replacement or an option for the left hand side. I don’t think they go for the more expensive option like Balikwisha when we have Jota there and Maeda to cover. The other has to be a centre back. No one has held down that left centre back position enough, with Trusty and Scales both struggling at times and Nawrocki seeming to be out the picture for whatever reason.

If we sell Kuhn, I think we target another left footer for the right hand side.

 

I wouldn't be against two wingers, with one of them being a loan.

I don’t disagree but I don’t think we see 2 wingers come in for the left hand side when we have Jota and Maeda.

 

That would be 7 wingers before we lose anyone, with 5 of them you would imagine on big wages.

Orjasaeter and Yang as younger backups.

 

I'm in the same boat.

With all the wingers linked, he'd be top of my list.

 

Daizen will be punted this summer if he doesn't sign the new deal. Tbh ye can probably write next season off for Jota worst case.

Khun will 100% be away this summer to Brentford and that leaves ye forrest and Yang

 

Khun has 4 years left on his deal, given Jota's injury club should be putting their foot down and making it perfectly clear to him he's going * nowhere this summer

 

I just have a hunch he will be gone. I would agree with you but apparently we had a few offers in January for him

 

Definitely would of been offers in January maybe not as much in the summer after 2nd half of the season but will be interest.
We have a business model but we can't continually sell our best players every year if we ever want to develop.

Before Jota injury I thought Hatate and Khun would likely go but no way we are going to leave ourselves with just Forrest and Yang and needing to sign 3 wingers this summer before a huge qualifier.

Khun may go if we don't make Champions league
