Trongate Title Party

I don't get people moaning about it, full of teenagers etc but who gees a *, they should be allowed to party if they want.

You could snuff it next week.

 

It's not the fact that it's full of teenagers, it's that there's alot of wee bams who use it as an excuse to act like a wee bam.

 

It's not just teenagers that are the issue.

The last one I attended 2 years ago there was a guy in his mid forties falling about the street who had * himself and that was about 10 mins after I had hot there after walking down from Celtic park.

Saw a. 2nd guy in his mid to late 20s walking around with the green man signal that he had broken off of a traffic light.

So it's a bit unfair to just label teenagers as bams.

Bams come in all ages

 

Its become a bad look for the club and country in general in my opinion.

As others have said, theres no reason why celtic couldnt put something on, or agree a plan with the council. The celtic tendency would be to make it expensive, price people out and make it a bit *, but they could surely work with fan groups to put together something really good and contained.

And Glasgow council has signed off a belated VE day orange march the same day? Thats mental if true. Just inviting trouble

A party zone at the stadium post match maybe a better solution?

I dont see rhe need for it every year. It's different for example...winning the league last day of the season, first win in a while etc.

 

Wether it's 4 in a row or just 1, I'll celebrate it like we've won the champions league. Never let these good times go by uncelebrated. Let's * party!!

 

As they are entitled to though.

Fans forgetting we won't be celebrating all the time, let * do what they want.

 

Until something official is arranged by the club or the council it's going to keep happening.

Go or don't, but it gets tiring hearing everyone moan about it and the same stories will be re-run the day after it by the media and ragin-hun twitter.

I'll enjoy the walk down from the stadium, stay for a few cans then head back up the road with some mates and drink in ma garden for the rest of the day enjoying the sun.

The biggest issue is going to be the running battles this year because the place will be full of orange * hellbent on stirring up *. Folk getting mad with it and doing a bit of damage to bus shelter and that will be the least of anyone's worries with that walk on the same day.

 

I think it is great having it where zombies roam just to get it up them. Have it outside Ibrox

Glasgow City Council "urging Celtic fans not to attend celebrations". The same GCC who had a brain fart and allowed an orange walk to go ahead on the same day of our celebrations. If they had a shread of common decency or resposibilty to the citizens of Glasgow they could stop the bigot walk and reschedule it. Honestly, you couldn't make it up.

 

Spot on mate. Ridiculous that councils and Scottish Government still allow these scum to march anytime anywhere.

 

Anyone who is going to this, hope that you all have a great time and that it's a lot of fun, but please, stay safe, with so many morons wandering the streets.

 

Just read that the oo have the moral high ground as their march was given official approval by GCC whereas our celebration isn't. No doubt this will give the cops free range to maintain order in their usual heavy handed way when dealing with our supporters whilst turning a blind eye to the rampant sectarianism and racism from the boy soldiers and their bigoted followers.

 

100% Taz. We all know how they feckers work. Target some individual half pished Celtic fans and kick the * out of them and then do a runner. So, everybody needs to be on their guard on Saturday and, as you say Taz, stay safe

 

Town's gonna be mental. Have Mogwai at the Barras at night but not sure where we'll go before, be stowed everywhere and as much as I think there should be a celebration I'll be avoiding the Trongate. A zone should have been arranged between the club, council and polis but instead there will just be complaints about the mess afterwards, rather than any productive, sensible plans implemented.
