Woeful. He seems to have gone on a gradual decline since we signed him.

To think we spent the whole of last summer begging Norwich to let us sign him.

Missed first 20 minutes so not seen his other chances but took his goal really well and seems up for it.

Goals change games. And my opinion of his half :fear:

    Good finish!

Big goal scoring diddy. Infuriating but good instinctive finisher. If he has to think about it not so good. Let’s just enjoy winning everything

Can’t argue with his minutes to goals but he’s never a Celtic first choice.

I think we are stuck with him in any case due to the ridiculous fee we paid. Never getting that back for him.

A full pre season will hopefully do him good

His movement is good, so hopefully he can be a bit more clinical.

Movement was good, some decent link up play and another goal. Some folk will never like him it seems but thankfully they don't pick the team.

Still time for him to come good, he's still young.

Think the fee we paid is for his future growth potential.

19 goals and he's hardly played a full 90m probably has started not that many either

Getting himself in great positions tbh. Half a yard quicker today and he'd have walked off with 5.

Good finish for the goal but he should’ve scored more. Getting into good positions at least.

First half hour or something was chronic. 2 * poor finishes. Lay off. Couldn't get on the end of crosses and was seemed to be off top much. Then involved in both goals after and a lovely finish before half time..

He's a bit like Dessers (different attributes) in that he'll get good numbers but his overall play will see him never really taken to by the majority of the support..

Was thinking the dessers comparison myself earlier but unlike dessers Idah has time for growth, and I think he will improve

Rodgers praised his striker Idah, who missed some presentable chances before claiming his 19th goal on the stroke of half time. His profligacy brought some groans from the Celtic faithful, but his manager is more than happy with the 24-year-old’s contribution.

“Adam's been fantastic for us in his first season,” said Rodgers. “He's only going to get better and better. I think the thing with Adam is, what probably the crowd and people see is, when we've played with strikers like Kyogo Furuhashi and Daizen Maeda, they're so explosive.

“They're so off the mark, the exhilaration is incredible. He has power and he has speed also. You see his movement to get in, but he's a different type of striker. His contribution over the course of the season has been so, so important for us. Not just domestically, but at the highest level. One striker cannot play all the games that we play, but I've been really pleased for him.

It's the one where he was through one v one with the square option available that really sort of raised the eyebrows for me.

He could've easily squared for a tap-in for Kuhn or, at the very least, use the clear space ahead of him to run into and tuck it away. Instead he took a really unnatural looking effort from a needlessly far out distance and aimed it straight at the keeper. It was pretty bizarre and you definitely expect a lot more in those situation.

Took his goal well but could've easily had a hat-trick today. Does plenty of good but the Dessers comparison is spot on.

Still see him as a no2 striker at the most. He will get you goals but similar to Dessers for them, frustrating to watch. Bit of an enigma.
