Aye they're certainly raking it in. Ridiculous how much we pay and they still want more. Used to get a couple of friendlies on your season book many moons ago.

I take it we aren’t going any tours this summer as we have the friendly at Cork at the start of July (8th) then this on the 19th or are we likely to go somewhere the 11 days or so in between?

25 quid to watch the Newcastle reserves lol. Lump that in with an email of signing 10 people up to the pools to get 100 quid off your season ticket. :56:

    We're a disgrace.

Mind you used to get home friendlies on your season ticket? Won’t be paying for this unless we sign Van * and Haaland.

20 quid would be have been ideal for this friendly

it’s a capitalist society nowadays , money to be made and let’s rob the punters.

as normal this is will be built up as an ENG v SCO grudge match.

will be lucky if it’s a sell out with summer holidays lol

the only fans lapping this up are the toon fans

a cracking day out for them as they will sell out there allocation.

That game is still on YouTube I think, beckham had to be taken off if I remember because he was going to be sent off even in a testimonial lol. That first 15 minutes we played like our lives depended on it, and then they thought * this, and and it really turned into almost a champions league game . Remember some real tasty tackles in it lol.

One thing I’ll say is ST holders have priority and until June to buy tickets for this. If it was any cheaper, the game probably wouldn’t even go to a general sale.

It’s harder than ever to see Celtic these days. I’ve been once since I gave my season ticket up when I moved. Friendlies shouldn’t be on the season book, because the majority of * don’t go. This way gives people a chance that wouldn’t normally get to go and they are probably fine paying it if it’s the only game they are going to get to.

Greed is a massive problem, but as long as Celtic get the money they will keep doing this.

I was at it. At that time, there was a real positivity around the club, that the tide was turning due to Martin O'Neill.

I still believe that the way we played there, gave us confidence in going away to Ajax, and producing one of our best ever European away performances of all time.

Would have been better priced at £20 for an * and £10 for children and oap's.

Aye there's absolutely zero added value for the price of a season ticket now. It used to mean the average price of a game was a wee bit cheaper than general sale, or you got a bonus match or two. But now all a ST does is guarantee you your seat, which is pretty poor value for a customer. A 5% increase in prices and I can see quite a lot of folk giving the ST up in the coming years.

Guarantees your home European tickets and domestic cup tickets, but not much financial saving in that either. I’m quite lucky that it’s only me and my daughter I pay for, but if you had to buy for a family of 4 etc it’s quickly becoming unaffordable. Used to get you a couple of free friendlies and maybe a European qualifier if we had one. Pretty sure you used to get a discount in the Celtic shop too. All gone now.

Hello - I'm after a bit of advice please - I'm a Hartlepool United fan and always wanted to see a game at Celtic Park, and this is it. I'm going to take my boy but we want to be in thr Celtic end, not with Mags fans. Can anyone tell me what our chances are and how I can go about it? many thanks x

Should be able to get tickets, they go on sale to public on June 3rd 10am
You may need to set up an account to buy tickets but it doesn't cost anything
