I couldn't remember Football Factory well enough to know if he is supposed to be the same guy as he was in that, just 25 years older or whatever. That said, I don't think anyone would be surprised to know it's Danny Dyer doing Danny Dyer things, and if you like Danny Dyer you might like this. But for the rest of us... not great. :/

Is pretty good. Pretty well acted, decent story, great blues music and well directed by Ryan Coogler (Creed, Black Panther). Well worth checking out. And try to avoid trailers/spoilers, just go with it.

    Drop

Decent little thriller, and for 90% it does hold and build the tension really well. There was a bit of a plot hole (although that could purely be because of poor AD it misses something crucial - and I've sat through twice now), but its worth checking out, not necessarily needing the big screen experience though

    Warfare

Alex Garland's next film after last year's Civil War (which was good in its own right as well), this one feels more akin to Black Hawk Down in terms of intensity and the confusion of being in a situation like that. It us uncomfortable but feels real and besides, warfare must be a decidedly uncomfortable and traumatic thing for anyone to experience... and I hope none of us ever finds out for real.

SISU- Enjoyed this, mad * that refuses to die, killing *'s on his own. Best film I've seen in a while, crazy *. Think it's on Netflix.

Marching Powder -As said above, it's pure *, it's nothing to do with the Football Factory film, just same actor and director. Total keech.

The Alto Knights - Wasn't bad but seemed to rush it towards the end, had potential to be much better.

Locked - with Anthony Hopkins and Bill Skarsgard, produced by Sam Raimi. Them 3 being involved in the film got my attention. Good idea for a film and it's half decent, but..

Black 47- reminded me of SISU (see above), but set during the Irish genocide. It's kinda like an Irish Rambo
