Guttes.. fully expect/demand a equally as good rrplacement in the summer window. Can't sit around and wait as these injuries often cause big long term issues.

Think we'll attempt for that qaulity young striker/forward that plays equally as good on either wing or up front. Gonna cost though..

Gutted with this. At least he never relied on explosiveness to beat his opponents rather than on his technique / craftiness. Should be equally effective after the injury.

I have a feeling he'll end his career with us, can clearly see how much he's glad to be back.

It's a big setback, but if we can get him back around Christmas time then he can still play a big part for next season.

I hear you. I was so excited at the prospect of watching a fully fit Jota flying from the get go next season. Lets just hope that his recovery goes well and I guess in a way if we get Jota back around Christmas/New Year it will be like a massive new January window signing.

Genuinely one of my favourite Celts. Certainly in the last ten years.

    Massive headache for Rodgers. Massive.

Dont wanna sound "cold" but one of the major issues with this is how it will effect our transfer window.

    Stick or twist?

Do we now need 2 wingers? What winger with an ounce of ambition or real talent is going to join Celtic to be a place holder for half a season?

Do we just buy the one winger? Put our faith in Jotas recovery and hope that when he does come back he'll be the same player?

Do we buy one winger and move Maeda out wide, sacrificing one position and for fill another and put our eggs in the new striker basket, hoping that he can replace those goals?

    * state of affairs to find ourselves in.

Yep if we want to improve in time for the qualifiers and throuout the season we need to replace him and let him come back and earn his place back in the team. We cant loan in a crappy project and wait a year. Could take even 12-15 months untill we get out his full potential again.
